Driving Primo to school had not been part of Lucian's plans. He didn't need to.
Primo was supposed to stay at the boarding school. But with everything that had changed, Lucian found himself thinking more deeply about what had been happening in their lives.
A normal life, huh? But it doesn't feel normal at all. Though it was not unpleasant either.
The norm in Lucian was the world he knew, the one he grew up in. And it was nowhere near this kind.
The norm for him was the violence, the crimes that were happening left and right, the schemes, the endless dangers.
Meanwhile, Primo looked out the window, watching the cars heading in the same direction.
Why is he driving me to school? I've never seen him drive before. He wondered, staring at the vehicles.
Having grown up surrounded by luxury, he could easily recognize every model and brand. Most of the vehicles on the road were expensive. Though none of them would have made it into Lucian's collection.
