Mimi said in surprise.
"You know... when our parents died 12 years ago, Zubii made a promise to them that she would always take care of me and—"
Lerah was speaking when Mimi interrupted her.
"And she kept that promise, right?"

"You're right. But when our parents were alive, she didn't even care about me that much. Mother and father were always worried about what would happen to me if someday they died..."
Lerah shared a part of her story with Mimi.
"Looks like they didn't trust her enough."

"Was Zubii pretty? Like, what kind of appearance did she have?"
Mimi asked curiously.

"No."
Lerah replied confidently.

Mimi said to Lerah.
"Obviously I am. She was a beauty with brains. There was a reason he loved her."
Lerah said, sounding slightly annoyed.
"Okay, okay, I understand. Let's just sleep now. We have university tomorrow at 8 AM, and it's already 11 PM."

They turned off the lamps and went to sleep peacefully.
