Synopsis
Akira Kurose, an ordinary high school student, suddenly awakens in the hidden world of Jujutsu. Able to see Curses—monstrous manifestations of human negative emotions—he is drawn into a dangerous life he never knew existed. Under the guidance of the powerful sorcerer Satoru Gojo, Akira teams up with Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki to face deadly curses, unravel ancient secrets, and survive battles that push both body and soul to the limit. Unique to him is the rare Echo Cursed Energy, a power that lets Akira temporarily copy a fraction of any curse’s or sorcerer’s ability—but at a heavy cost. As he faces escalating threats, from the gluttonous “Big Belly” Curse to the fiery Jogo, the twisted Mahito, and the terrifying Sukuna—whose fingers return piece by piece—Akira grows, fights, and struggles to balance humanity and immense power. Each battle brings him closer to uncovering the mysteries of the cursed world and his own hidden potential. With visually intense battles, strategic combat, and cliffhangers at every turn, Legendary Seal is a web novel adventure where the line between survival and destruction is razor-thin.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Day the World Became Wrong

The rain fell like a curtain of silver knives over Tokyo, relentless and unforgiving. Streetlights glimmered in puddles, distorting reflections of hurried commuters. Akira Kurose pulled his jacket tighter, the plastic umbrella wobbling in his hand. He had walked this route countless times, yet tonight the city felt… different.

Something in the air was heavy, thick, like the world had been submerged underwater. Shadows stretched unnaturally along walls and alleyways, moving with a life of their own. Akira shook his head, trying to dismiss the unease twisting in his stomach.

As he entered the subway station, the crowd's noise seemed muted. Footsteps echoed oddly, like a delayed playback. Then he heard it—a soft, rasping whisper that made his skin crawl.

"Huuuungry…"

Akira froze, heart hammering. He scanned the corridor, but the commuters pressed past, oblivious.

"Just… my imagination," he muttered.

The whisper returned, closer this time, unmistakable.

"Huuuungry… huuung…"

He looked up.

Something crouched on the ceiling. Its limbs were twisted, stitched together with black veins that pulsed like they were alive. Its mouth stretched wide, filled with jagged teeth, eyes hollow and leaking shadows that seemed to pulse toward him.

Akira staggered back, terror rooting him to the spot.

The creature tilted its head, a grotesque imitation of curiosity. "You… can see me."

It moved closer, crawling along the ceiling like an insect, black smoke trailing behind its every step. Below, people walked as if nothing existed above them. No screams, no alarm. Just him and the horror.

"Stay away!" Akira shouted, his voice trembling.

From the far end of the corridor, two figures appeared. A boy with sharp black eyes, hair messy but controlled, and a girl casually holding a hammer. Their eyes locked on Akira, assessing.

"Another one," the boy muttered, voice calm but edged with interest.

"Finally," the girl said, cracking her neck, bored yet ready.

The creature lunged at Akira, unnatural speed carrying it forward. Before it could reach him, the black-haired boy raised a hand. Shadows erupted, forming two wolf-like beasts that leapt and tore into the curse. It screamed, a sound that ripped through the tiles, before dissipating into nothing.

Akira could barely comprehend what he saw.

"You saw it, didn't you?" the girl said, stepping closer, hammer resting lightly on her shoulder.

"I… I don't understand…" he stammered.

"Interesting," the boy replied quietly, eyes narrowing as he studied Akira.

A sudden, playful voice echoed from the shadows, confident and teasing.

"Hello there."

A tall man with white hair, blindfolded eyes, and an air of chaotic ease appeared. "Name's Gojo," he said, a smirk curling at the corner of his mouth. "Looks like your life just got a lot more interesting."

Akira's chest tightened. "Wh… who… what is this?"

"You're not in your world anymore," Gojo replied. "Curses, power, danger… welcome to Tokyo as it truly is."

The ordinary life Akira had known shattered in that moment. Shadows were teeth, whispers were alive, and the city concealed darkness deeper than any horror movie he had ever seen.

His knees threatened to buckle, but curiosity flared alongside fear. There was something intoxicating about this world, its hidden dangers, and the power it seemed to offer him.

The girl stepped forward. "Don't worry. We'll show you how to survive. First lesson: what's real can hurt."

From a grate nearby, faint red light glimmered. A cursed artifact, pulsating with dark energy. A finger. Just one.

Akira felt it before he saw it—a strange resonance, a hum in his chest, a flicker in his vision. Echo.

"Your life… has changed," Gojo said, amused by the expression on his face.

Akira swallowed hard, heart pounding. Somewhere beneath the city, something ancient and malevolent stirred. He could sense it—its presence wrapping around his soul, waiting, patient, hungry.

"This… this isn't real," Akira whispered to himself, but his hands shook. The rain outside seemed to intensify, hammering the ground like drums of war.

"Real enough to get you killed," the girl said casually, but her eyes were sharp, assessing. "So pay attention."

A surge of black energy flickered from the artifact, and for a moment, the world around Akira slowed. Shadows stretched, warped, and danced like living things. He felt a pull—something beckoning him into darkness, offering power, but at a cost he could not yet understand.

He gripped his umbrella tighter, stepping toward the strange energy. Fear clashed with curiosity, a battle within his chest. Every instinct screamed to run, but some primal part of him was drawn to it.

Gojo smiled beneath his blindfold. "Welcome, Akira Kurose. You've just taken your first step. The city, the curses, and everything hidden… it's all yours to witness."

Akira took a shaky breath, realizing one truth: there was no going back. The ordinary world had ended, and the hidden war beneath the streets of Tokyo had just begun.

And in the shadows, a hollow grin flickered—ominous, patient, promising more than Akira could ever imagine.

The rain fell harder. Neon lights fractured in puddles. And Akira stepped forward.
