Matt is the author of a web novel called Grandeur and Gratitude to the Entire World.
One day, while he is finally writing the epilogue to his novel, he suddenly suffers a seizure and dies.
For a while, he sees nothing but darkness. But when he finally opens his eyes, he discovers that he has been reincarnated into the body of Ian Illuot, a minor side character from his own novel.
At first, Matt has no intention of interfering with the original development of the story. He decides to simply stay out of the way and let events unfold as they were originally written.
However, due to a series of unfortunate events, he is eventually forced to take part in the story.
As Ian travels through the world he once created, he begins to discover things he never knew existed.
The horrors and exsistence he never knew exsisted.
The consequences of his writing.
Along his journey, Matt will be forced to confront the terrible reality of the world he created—and the people who suffered because of it.
