Lena stood near the ridge overlooking the forest.
The trees below seemed darker now.
Kael approached quietly.
"You shouldn't be alone," he said.
"I needed to think," Lena replied.
Kael leaned against the wooden fence beside her.
"You handled the power well," he said.
"Barely," Lena muttered. "I almost lost control."
Kael watched the distant forest.

Instead he turned toward the forest edge.

Behind them footsteps approached.
Eira arrived with two elders.
"There is something Lena must see," the elder said quietly.
They led Lena deeper into the valley until they reached a stone structure partially hidden behind the trees.
Ancient symbols covered the doorway.
"What is this?" Lena asked.
Eira placed her hand on the stone.
"This was built centuries ago," she said.
"For the last Moonborn."
The heavy door slowly opened.
Inside the chamber silver runes glowed faintly.
Lena felt the magic immediately.
Her power stirred in response.
Eira looked at her carefully.
