In the vast space, passing through the planets. H-200, the headquarters was floating with its enormous size. Followed by the loud chatters of the people inside of it.
"Did you look into the planets, we might be landing on next?"
"Hey, have you examined the corruptions sample we collected at the last planet?"
"Try the snacks, they taste better today."
Everyone was talking about their own things, some were eating. Some were asleep, or doing their work.
Lunethra who was eating a cookie, glanced at training fields. Particularly at a certain short silver haired lady with pure white flame wings behind her back. "Solara..." Lunethra whispered, as he watched the phoenix without any equipment, just attacking the target dummies non stop, the former getting replaced by new one after every attack.
Name: Solara
Race: Bird. Flame path.
Specialities: Psuedo-Immortality.
He could see the exhaustion clearly on her face, but decided not to intervene. She will just refuse to listen if I tried to advice her. He thought, so he just glanced at the other training areas. His gaze fixed on a blue head, who easily carried a claymore twice her size and weight, and practicing her swordsmanship.
Name: Risa
Race: Dragon. Frost path.
Specialities: 1. Tough skin.
2. High physical strength.
She would had been quite useful if she doesn't tries to be prideful all the time. He thought. "I just need them to survive..." As he ate another cookie.
Meanwhile in the control room, Nyxelle was looking at the space map, displayed to her on a hologram, as she studied the information for each planet. Her eyes locked on a certain one.
Name: Elvin
Mana concentration: Medium
Status: 1. 82% of original population has perished in the last few years after contamination with corruption.
2. No signs of corrupted species found, only non-corrupted surviving species.
Remaining species found on the planet in order from highest to lowest: 1. Elves.
2. Foxians.
3. Orcs.
4. Phantoms.
5. Birds.
6. Other preys and predators[Including of mindless predators].
Nyxelle coded in some commands to the panel, before pressing the button for announcement, the microphone appearing once again.
Everyone who was outside stopped with what they were doing as they heard the announcement. "Everyone, our next destination will be the planet of the elves, Elvin. To rescue the remaining survivors, you can look at the details on the screen! I repeat, our next destination is..."
As the announcement continued, Lunethra glanced at the last person to enter the room. Lunaria. Who walked down the stairs, and headed towards the training field. Planning to train a little before they reach their destination.
Lunethra quietly watched, as he noticed the slightly flushed expression still lingering on her face. Well that's one thing done, the rest is all dependent on her. Luckily, she won't remember anything that I did to her. That were his thoughts, as he finished the cookie in his hand, and left the room.
.
..
...
Ruffle! The sound of something or someone moving through tall grass and bushes, as it multiplied further when more people started to walked through it as well.
As they got out of the bushes, they found the sight of blood on the ground of many beheaded warriors. One of them, an elf, wearing similar clothing to that of the corpse, implying it was of another else, leaned down to examine a corpse.
"The way they are beheaded is in the exact pattern." He said to the elves that had came along with him.
"So it was Kurenai again, huh?" One of them replied back.
"Yes..." The elf sighed, as he glanced around at the other beheaded corpses.
While they were picking up the corpses to put them down in their graves later, a raven, a bird from the path of knowledge, shouted loud for everyone to hear, not just the elves, but everyone.
"Everyone! Something really big is coming to elvin from the heavens above! It's really massive, I have never seen something like that ever before in my life nor heard of any history of such thing!" The raven's yells echoed in the sky, everyone on Elvin near the raven in the sky could hear it.
The orcs who were eating raw meat of some rabbit they killed, glanced their head towards the sky. The phantoms came out of the shadows they resided in, the other birds sat on the branches of the tree to hear their friend, and at a far distance, a cloaked figure standing on top of a hill, watched from afar, the cloak wavering slightly through the wind.
The raven came down to the ground, shifting to its human form, as a male voice spoke in a nervous and confused tone. "Everyone, I am not lying, I really just saw something really big in the sky coming here!"
One of the birds, a phoenix, the bird of the flames sighed slightly as its form shifted to a female one as it spoke. "Levin dear, we have seen the largest orcs, what can be even bigger than that?"
Levin turned towards her and yelled. "The orcs are large I am aware of that but what I just saw is even more massive than that, try to understand what I am saying Sera, that thing is really massive!"
One of the phantoms who gathered around there, raised his voice to question Levin. "How large are we talking really?"
Levin answered without looking at the phantom. "As large as the Empire..."
Everyone went silent after hearing that. "As large as the... Empire you say?" Sera mumbled, the phoenix no longer taking the matter as something not worth knowing about, fixing her composure she asked Levin a question. "What else was there about it?"
Levin answered her questions. "It was a large white structure that was flying through the heavens, to me it seemed like it came from the world beyond the heavens itself, and there were some glasses on it, I could see people inside of it."
"Did the empire develop the power to fly or something!?" One of the Orc questioned. Suddenly to their surprise, one of the elves mumbled in shock while staring up at the sky. The leader of the elves group asked him what's wrong, as he pointed up in the sky, when everyone else turned to where he was pointing at, they all froze in shock.
In the skies, was the H-200, for them, it was something straight from a world beyond their knowledge, Levin immediately yelled. "That's it, that is the thing I was talking about!"
"What in the name of the Tailed King even is that?" The phantom from earlier mumbled.
Everyone who watched it, were stunned by the spaceship, it wasn't something they watched at a regular basis to not be shocked about it. The cloaked figure on the hill stared as well. "I feel a familiar presence..." It mumbled before leaving.
The others watched as the spaceship went past them from above their head. Levin shifted back to his raven form, and flapped himself off the ground, chasing the white behemoth in the sky.
"I'll go after him, I am supposed to watch over that idiot cousin of mine either way." Said sera, as she also shifted to her phoenix form and chased after the them.
As the spaceship was flying through the sky, it eventually reached a large open field on the surface, as it stopped and stayed in the air. A loud noise coming from the inside.
"Alright everyone, those who are supposed to rescue the survivors, please go outside and don't forget your navigater to remember the spaceship's location! I repeat, don't forget the navigator!"
A small door opened at the side of the spaceship, as one by one, everyone who have to do their duty, came out. Along with an unexpected fellow.
"Weeeee!" A childish excited yelled screamed, as Lunaria who came down just now, looked up, as she saw someone about to land on her.
Instinctively dodging, she turned to the side as a familiar dark haired landed on the ground, Lunethra.
Risa, Solara and the others stared at him as if questioning why is he here. Lunaria asked it first. "Why are you coming along? Rescuing the survivors isn't even your duty."
Lunethra turned to her with a pleading look in the eyes. "Can I not come along? The more, the merrier, no?"
Before Lunaria could answer, someone else did. "Sis, let him come actually." Said Risa, Lunaria glanced at her slightly, wondering why did she said that. "I have been noticing this guy acting all silly for so long without any discipline. Might as well let him come along so he can understand why he shouldn't have been so childish." Risa glared at Lunethra with a cold look. It was clear that she disliked how he behaved around them.
"Can I watch over him then?" A male spoke from behind Risa, she heard it and stepped aside, a pale skinned blue haired person with golden eyes was standing behind her, two horns on his head pointing out forward then up.
"Why do you want to watch over this guy?" Risa questioned. The boy, about as old as her, gave a snarky reply while faking an innocent smile. "Because we are supposed to rescue everyone here and not have more burdens by letting one of us die."
A vein popped up on Risa's forehead as she held herself back with a smile. "Oh is that so? Thanks for reminding that, you black horned idiot."
"No problem, grumpy lizard."
"Enough you two." Solara said with a sigh as she continued. "Let's just do our work, newbie, you can tag along with me, let these two idiots fight each other."
Solara waved a sign to Lunethra, as flaming wings manifested on her back, about to fly, her red hair shining in the fire. She grabbed Lunethra by the collar and flew off into the sky.
Lunaria watched as she closed her eyes to focus, trying to found any sound nearby. "I'll go this side then." She pointed, as she covered her legs in frost and skated over there, a trail of ice left behind.
The others watched and sighed, then looking at Risa and the blue haired person. Until the two realized that those three already left.
"This is your fault, if you didn't tried to get the new guy injured by planning to make him do everything alone, this wouldn't have happened."
Risa glared slightly as she glared at him and told to be quiet. Then she also left, as she manifested her wings and flew off to the other side that was used by neither Lunaria nor Solara and Lunethra.
"So uh." One of the others called out the blue haired person, clearing their throat. "Sir Orion, I suppose we would use the remaining path then?" The person looked at them and sighed.
Name: Orion
Race: Demon. Flow path.
Speciality: 1. High Mana concentration.
2. Enhanced vision.
"I'll never understand these girls..." Orion whispered with a sigh as he straightened up. "Alright let's go, everyone." Orion gave them the signal, as he lead them to the remaining path.
Everyone had left to their own side. In the north, was the Dragon. In the east, was the ruthless lady. In south, was the newbie and the phoenix. And in the west, was the demon and his group.
In the bushes however, were two certain birds, Levin and Sera, who watched and heared everything. "They talked something about... Rescuing the survivors?" Levin whispered, to which Sera responded quietly. "This much is certain... They have different kind of people with them, we will have to be aware of them... Especially that silver haired woman who controlled ice. I sensed high mana from her." Sera gulped slightly, as Levin and her both shifted back into their bird forms. "Let's tell everyone about this." She said, as both of them flew off back to everyone.
Eventually they reached back and told everyone about what they heard and saw. Everyone thinking about it. The leader of the Elves, sat on a rock and thought about it.
"If they are here to rescue the survivors, which might probably be us, as we survived on this planet after what happened during the Veiled Century to our Ancestors..." He said, as he continued. "Perhaps, we might be saved now from having to struggle everyday here."
The others thought about it, as they agreed with him. After centuries worth of struggle, they could finally rest and live peacefully.
"I don't think so." A female elf mentioned, the leader looked at her as she continued. "If by survivors, it means everyone on this planet... Then won't that mean, we are talking about the Empire too?"
Everyone went quiet at the thought as Levin broke the silence. "Right... They live here too... Its not even that we have any problem with the Empire, neither do they have any problem with us."
"It's only those three who have hatred towards all of us." The elf leader mentioned. "I don't understand why do they hate us, but we are always hunted by those three."
"I have a suggestion." Sera said. Everyone looked at her, as she mentioned what she felt. "Among the four of the many directions of this planet. The one in the east, had a mana concentration far higher than all of us... Perhaps, we can ask those people to help us."
The phantom from earlier thought about the suggestion. "Not a bad idea, we can ask for help. If they are supposed to rescue the survivors, then they would probably help us against those who are trying to kill those survivors."
"Alright. So the plan is this then." Sera mentioned, loud enough for all of them to hear. "We all will look for those people, and then request them to help us. If a few of them agrees then it will maybe make the rest agree to help us as well."
Everyone raised their hand in agreement, as they all were ready to find the people who came to help them.
On each of the four sides, everyone were at the their own place. The Dragon, Risa, who had went north, was now facing a large centipede inside a cave where she had gone. A grin appeared on her face, as she pulled out the claymore on her back. "This is going to be fun."
On the south however, it was something else. A minotaur and a cyclope were on the path around a large stone pillar, attacking anything in sight. The phoenix, Solara and the newbie, Lunethra who had went south were greeted by this.
"So... We can't really avoid a fight it seems. Which are one you fighting." Lunethra asked, stretching his arms above his head.
"I'll take the Minotaur then, you can have the cyclope." Solara replied, Lunethra agreed by learning forward and looking at her face with a soft smile. "Alright, senior." Solara chuckled quietly at the formality. "Just don't make me do your work." As she cracked her knuckles, Lunethra followed by manifesting an obsidian spear with his magic, the two approaching the mindless beasts.
On the West, was Orion and his group, who were in a forest, with a swarm of giant hornets around them. "Sir Orion, we are surrounded it seems." One of his people said in a calm manner, not afraid of the swarm.
"Yeah, let me just clear it up." Orion said, as he pulled the blade on his waist out of its sheath, blue flames igniting on its blade. "This won't take that long." As he went a bit forward to keep enough space to swing without hitting his group at the back.
Finally in the east, Lunaria found herself near an isolated pond, with a sea serpent above it, glaring down at her, ready to turn her into its food.
Nyxelle mentioned about some mindless beasts that exists here. While low in population, they are all top tier predators. They would normally be a challenge...
She thought before mumbling. "Normally, I meant..." As she raised her frost covered foot, and slammed it on the ground. Sending a large glacier at the serpent, covering the entire pond in one go and reaching the height of a mountain. The serpent died from getting impaled in the whole body.
Back in the cave, Risa came straight at the centipede, splitting it in half with her claymore, while causing a huge crater in the ground below, coal visible underneath, it was that deep, the whole cave collapsing later. She jumped out of the rocks, back on the ground and yelled in thrill. "Too easy, give me more!"
In the forest, Orion swinged his blade by doing a fast spin, the flames turning into a whole hurricane reaching above the forest, burning all the hornets and the area of the forest it covered. "Alright, let's continue going."
Finally at the pillar like mountain, the minotaur screamed as its entire body was reduced to ashes by the flames Solara used on it. The cyclope's head was impaled from above, as sharp obsidian burst out of its body, impaling it from the inside.
"Well that was boring." Solara said, Lunethra pulled the spear back out, vanishing it away. "Well, they are just normal monsters, not even a low level corrupted species."
"Right." Solara sighed, as she noticed three familiar things far away. A glacier as large as the mountain they were on, a smoke of dust made cause of a heavy impact, and a big hurricane of blue flames.
"Seems like everyone found some monsters, don't you think so too? Senior?" Lunethra looked at her kindly when saying the last part. Solara laughed slightly again as she pretended to not care, but the amusement was visible, a smile on her face.
"Yeah it seems so, let's go. Get on my back." She said, Lunethra held onto her shoulders as she manifested her wings again, and flew to the sky again.
But one thing the five of them had not noticed. That the people on this planet, who planned to find them. All of them seeing their power.
The phantom and the Orc, who found Solara and Lunethra were in awe. Are you kidding us? The two thought.
The elves who found Orion and his group were in disbelief. So much power. They all thought.
Levin who found Risa had his jaw hanging open in terror. She is terrifying. He thought.
Finally Sera, who found Lunaria was in shock. This woman...
They are all monsters! They all had this one exact thought.
