Chapter 75 - Chapter 75 : What? Are You Finally Going to Advance the Plot?

Phantylia?

What was she doing here?

Looking at the foxian woman who had arrived without warning, Cecilia felt a flicker of confusion.

Of course, it was not just her. Everyone else present was just as puzzled.

Welt was the first to speak. "Miss Tingyun, what brings you here? Did General Jing Yuan send you to summon us again?"

Phantylia did not answer at once. Instead, she began with a little teasing.

"Oh my, Mr. Welt, must there always be a reason? Could it not simply be that I wished to pay Miss Cecilia a visit?"

She walked forward with graceful, measured steps, her skirt swaying lightly, every movement carrying that distinct foxian charm and elegance.

But Cecilia narrowed her eyes slightly.

What is Phantylia trying to do? Don't tell me she's planning to make a move on me?

After all, saying she had come specifically to visit Cecilia was barely any more believable than outright nonsense.

Forget whether Cecilia believed it—March 7th probably would not buy it either.

The Luofu's Stellaron crisis had yet to be resolved, and on top of that, the whole affair with Theresa and Red Kite had just erupted.

There was no way anyone would believe the Luofu had no reaction at all.

Sure enough, when she saw that none of them seemed particularly convinced, Phantylia finally revealed her purpose.

"Oh my, honored guests, I was only trying to lighten the mood with a little joke."

She coughed lightly, then continued, "In truth, I have come on assignment. General Jing Yuan wishes to invite you all to the Seat of Divine Foresight for another discussion."

For once, Phantylia was not lying.

After witnessing that divination that pierced through Mystery, she had wanted to get closer to Cecilia—but this time, she really had come under Jing Yuan's orders.

By that logic, she had truly chosen an excellent identity to wear.

"General Jing Yuan wants to see us?" Cecilia arched a brow.

"Wasn't he hiding from me? Why is he delivering himself to my doorstep now?"

After all, because of the little extortion she had pulled earlier, Jing Yuan had clearly intended to drag out repayment for as long as possible.

Phantylia covered her mouth with a light laugh. "Miss Cecilia jests. How could the General possibly be hiding from you? He has simply been occupied with official business. See? The moment he found the time, he immediately sent little me to invite you."

"And—" she paused, sweeping her gaze across the table, "the General specifically said this is about serious business. About the Stellaron."

The mood at the table immediately grew heavier.

Among those present, the Astral Express crew reacted the most strongly.

After all, they had come to the Luofu precisely because of the Stellaron disaster.

Welt adjusted his glasses. "It seems General Jing Yuan has finally made his decision."

"In that case, let us go."

Welt rose to his feet, his gaze passing over everyone present.

Cecilia, however, did not move at once. Instead, she studied Phantylia thoughtfully.

Something about the way Phantylia spoke felt faintly off.

She could not quite put her finger on it—but it was there.

"Miss Cecilia?" Phantylia tilted her head in feigned puzzlement. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Cecilia withdrew her gaze and stood up. "Let's go. I'd like to see what General Jing Yuan wants this time."

A short while later, the group arrived at the Seat of Divine Foresight.

When they entered the inner hall, Jing Yuan was indeed already waiting.

But what surprised Cecilia was that he was not alone.

Fu Xuan was there as well.

And the expression on the Lady Diviner's face…

Well, it looked like someone had dragged her out of bed and forced her to work overtime for three straight days.

"Lady Fu, it's been a few days. You're looking well," Cecilia said with a smile.

Fu Xuan's mouth twitched.

Looking well?

Her Divination Commission's energy reserves had been completely drained, its computational core had nearly overloaded and burned out, and the entire department was now practically forced into a three-month shutdown—

And that counted as looking well?

Still, as the Master Diviner, she managed to squeeze out a perfectly professional smile.

"Thanks to Miss Cecilia, these past few days have been… exceptionally restful."

She ground the words out through clenched teeth.

March 7th leaned toward Stelle and whispered, "Why do I feel like Lady Fu is speaking sarcastically?"

Stelle's face remained blank. "That's because she is."

Couldn't you whisper a little more quietly? I can hear you!

Jing Yuan chose that moment to intervene, cutting through the awkward atmosphere.

"Please, everyone, take a seat."

Once they had all settled, he returned to his position at the head of the hall. His expression was noticeably more serious than before.

"The matter is urgent, so I will skip any pleasantries. I asked you all here today because there is something of great importance I must discuss."

He paused, letting his gaze sweep across every person present.

"It concerns the Stellaron."

Welt pushed up his glasses. "General Jing Yuan, have you decided to take action?"

After all, when the Express crew had previously volunteered to help resolve the Luofu's Stellaron crisis, the Luofu's side had dragged its feet terribly.

Who would have thought that after only a few days, Jing Yuan's attitude would shift so completely?

It really did seem that the divination had changed things.

In that respect, Welt's guess was not wrong.

Jing Yuan had originally intended to keep fishing—but with matters of far greater importance now looming over the Alliance, he no longer dared delay.

So he nodded.

"The Stellaron threat cannot be left alone any longer. Over these past few days, I have already had its exact location confirmed."

Cecilia, meanwhile, looked at Jing Yuan with open disdain.

Look at that—these generals really are two-faced.

Others might not know what Jing Yuan had been playing at, but Cecilia, who knew the script, knew perfectly well.

He had long since known where the Stellaron was. The only reason he had kept it under wraps was because he wanted to set up something bigger.

Jing Yuan turned toward Fu Xuan.

At once, a projection screen unfolded, displaying a full holographic map of the Luofu.

At one point on the map, a crimson light was flashing.

Fu Xuan pointed to it.

"Scalegorge Waterscape."

"Scalegorge Waterscape?" March 7th blinked. "What kind of place is that?"

"The place beneath the ancient sea, where the dragon veins converge."

It was Jingliu who answered.

Her voice was as cold as ever, though there was the slightest ripple in her eyes when she spoke of that place.

"It was once the domain overseen by Imbibitor Lunae, Dan Feng… and it is also where the Ambrosial Arbor lies."

Dan Feng.

The moment that name was spoken, the expressions around the room shifted in different ways.

Jingliu continued, "Jing Yuan, Scalegorge Waterscape remains sealed. How do you intend to enter it?"

Because given the nature of Scalegorge Waterscape, there were only two ways to break the seal and enter.

The first: a Vidyadhara High Elder opening the sea.

The second: smashing through it by force.

As for the first option, the current Vidyadhara High Elder, Bailu, lacked the ability to open the sea.

As for the second, the Luofu's current combat strength could certainly manage it.

But given the presence of the Ambrosial Arbor and the Stellaron, that method was not exactly ideal either.

At that moment, Jing Yuan suddenly raised a hand.

A young man in green stepped into the hall.

"Dan Heng?!"
