Adam could feel the forest's cold breath on his skin. His heart was racing faster than ever, but strangely… he didn't feel fear anymore.

"Forbidden Strike…?" Adam whispered, his voice trembling.
Suddenly, the ground shook violently. Branches snapped, and leaves flew everywhere. The glowing red eyes from the darkness were closer than ever.
Instinctively, Adam raised his hand. Fire surged from his palm, swirling around his arm like a living flame. Lightning cracked in his other hand. He had no idea how, but he could feel power coursing through his veins.
The shadowy beast lunged. Adam gritted his teeth and yelled:

A wave of fire and lightning collided with the monster. The forest lit up like the sky itself was burning. The beast roared, staggering backward, its glowing red eyes wide with shock.
