Chapter 16 - Ramiris: A Good Friend

After a lot of pestering from Ramiris—far more than Felix had initially expected himself capable of tolerating—Felix finally relented and decided to show her the Tier Magic. The tiny fairy had been hovering around him for what felt like hours, circling his head, tugging at his hair, and throwing increasingly dramatic tantrums until he gave in.

"Okay, I'll only show you the magic, if you keep everything about me a secret." Felix asked.

His tone was serious, but not cold—more like someone carefully drawing a line, making sure the weight of his words landed properly. Even though Ramiris was… well, Ramiris, he knew she wasn't malicious. Still, what he was about to reveal wasn't something he could afford to let spread freely.

"Of course, Total secret." She said zipping her lips.

She even made an exaggerated motion of throwing away an invisible key, puffing her chest out with pride as if she had just sworn the most unbreakable oath in existence.

Felix narrowed his eyes slightly, watching her for a second longer than necessary.

"And you're sure no one can see inside this Labyrinth right?"

"Absolutely… unless Veldanava is alive… Veldanava was such a peeper looking inside my Labyrinth without permission." She pouted.

Her cheeks puffed up in annoyance as she crossed her arms, clearly still holding a grudge. The casual mention of such a being didn't escape Felix, but he chose not to dwell on it right now. If Ramiris said the Labyrinth was secure, then it likely was—at least to a degree he could work with.

Thus, Felix decided to use a few spells he had been unsure about. Summoning spells, since he had no idea what he'll summon or create.

The uncertainty made it perfect for testing. If something went wrong, the Labyrinth would contain it. If something went right… well, then he gained valuable knowledge.

Thus he used 3rd Tier magic: [Summon Monster]

Magicules gathered almost instantly, swirling into a dense, visible current that twisted into form. A glowing magic circle spread beneath his feet, intricate patterns lighting up layer by layer, humming faintly as the spell completed.

As soon as the spell completed, a wolf appeared from the magic circle.

The creature stepped out hesitantly, its form solidifying as the light faded. Its fur was unnaturally sleek, shimmering faintly with residual magicules, and its eyes glowed with a dim, artificial intelligence—present, but shallow.

"Ohh… you made a completely new beast with Magicules…hmm.. maybe you can do it lots of time than we'll have army of wolves and I'll finally shut Milim's mouth about Having more subordinates." Ramiris beamed.

She floated closer, poking the wolf without fear, already imagining grand scenarios where she could boast about her "army" to Milim. Her excitement was infectious, though somewhat misplaced.

Felix too noticed as the spell took effect, it was somewhat similar to how a dense magicule environment gives birth to monsters just this one seemed rather artificial.

It lacked the chaotic natural evolution he had observed in true monsters. Instead, this felt structured… forced into existence through a predefined template.

It had rather low intelligence, only being able to understand basic commands.

Felix tested it briefly—simple instructions like "sit," "move," and "stay." The wolf obeyed, but there was no initiative, no curiosity. It was closer to a construct than a living creature.

"Okay let me try summoning something else."

Curiosity stirred deeper now. If the base tier was like this, what about higher tiers?

So he used 4th Tier spell: [Summon Angel]

The magic circle this time was more refined, the energy sharper—almost pristine. Light gathered in a vertical column before condensing into a humanoid form.

An angelic being appeared from the magic circle however, it looked nothing like angels from Tensura rather it was much more like Angels from Overlord.

Its wings were rigid, almost sculpted rather than natural, and its face carried an emotionless calm that bordered on eerie.

It was called Principality Peace and could cast low level Divine magic and just like the wolf it was rather low in intelligence.

Felix felt it immediately—the presence of divine energy, but diluted, controlled. It wasn't a true angel. It was an imitation, assembled from his magicules under the system's framework.

"It's a little bit like angels but still a monster… so your magic and just make up new monsters… ooo…what if we fill the labyrinth with these new monsters…cooool…" Ramiris was just going along with everything, wanting everything to show off in Demon Lords Council.

Her imagination ran wild again, already picturing elaborate displays and exaggerated bragging rights.

After understanding that Summons were made directly from his magicules, he decided to try higher level magic and see if the intelligence would increase or not.

There was only one way to confirm the hypothesis.

[Summon Primal Fire Elemental]

The spell didn't activate immediately.

A spell that took sometime to charge and use by the Nameless Book of Spells as it was a T-9 spell. However, the results were far more satisfying too.

The air grew heavy, magicules compressing to an almost suffocating density. The magic circle expanded far wider than before, its patterns far more complex, almost layered in dimensions beyond sight.

Then, it formed.

"I greet the Supreme Being and my creator, please pass your orders to me and give my life a meaning." The Fire element which looked like a Ifrit said kneeling down as soon as it was formed.

Its voice carried weight—awareness, purpose, devotion. Unlike the previous summons, this one… thought.

"Oye oye… I'm the Spirit Queen, why are you ignoring me." Ramiris interjected.

She puffed up indignantly, hovering right in front of the elemental's face.

"My apologies to the Spirit Queen but the Supreme Being remains as my creator and master regardless of your status " the fire elemental said respectfully.

Its tone was steady, unwavering, but not disrespectful—simply absolute in its hierarchy.

Felix exhaled softly. This… this was different.

"Actually, from now on your job is to help out Ramiris, that's it." Felix told the elemental.

He didn't hesitate. If anything, this solved two problems at once.

"As you wish my lord." The elements wuth with equal joy and sadness, joy for receiving the order and sadness for not being able to directly serve the supreme being.

That subtle emotional complexity didn't go unnoticed.

While there were higher Tiers available such as Pantheon to summon a group of angels or Seraph Empyrean Summoning which summoned the most powerful Angel, they were both Super Tier and he really wasn't in mood to charge up the Nameless Book of Spells for a super tier magic for now.

Even testing had limits. Burning through that much power casually would be reckless.

Just like that a couple of weeks went by, hanging out with Ramiris, helping her fix the Beretta doll. Yes, it had been broken by Raphtalia when Ramiris used it to test Raphtalia, however Raphtalia unknowingly severed the connection of the doll and Beretta, expelling her back to the Demon realm.

The memory of that incident still made Ramiris grumble occasionally, though she tried to play it off.

Now, not only she needed to fix the doll but also ask Rimuru to Summon her again as the contract was still in Rimuru's hands.

Thankfully, Ramiris now had a servant in the form of the Prime Fire Elemental or she really might have gone depressed.

The elemental followed her around diligently, assisting with repairs, organizing scattered materials, and occasionally acting as an emotional buffer when Ramiris got frustrated.

"Do you know any way we can restore your power?" Felix asked one day.

The question came more seriously than before. What had started as casual curiosity had turned into genuine concern.

"No.. only by reincarnation can I slowly purge away the corruption. Ohh maybe the magic from outside can do it…" she suggested.

Felix however knew that even the Super Tier Magic can't do it as he had used it.

Or maybe… if he could get something from the gatcha he might get something to heal her.

The thought lingered.

As long as it didn't cost him much, he was willing to do that for a friend. And Ramiris was a great friend, sure she was a bit of a Klutz but she made up for it by being a really great listener and honest to heart.

He currently had two Quests he needed to complete, one where he needed to go to another world and another needed him to join one of the top 5 organisations.

He could certainly afford one more quest since the limit has been raised to 4. But he knew he was kind of getting addicted to it, he could tell that just having a reason to roll made him excited. It was after all an easy way to get powerful and get all kinds of cheats. How could someone not getting addicted to it?

Still… he rolled.

[Rolling the Gacha: Congratulations You've rolled:

Sexual Prowess

Ever wanted to be really good at sex? With this power you will basically become a god in bed. Your sexual skills will be second to none and borderline supernatural.(Overpowered Isekai 2.0)]

Felix didn't think he needed it, he was confident in himself, but of course that didn't mean he would mind having it.

A small, amused smirk crossed his face before he moved on.

[Rolling the Gacha: Congratulations You've rolled:

Mark of trust

you can mark other beings and give them a copy of the perks that you have the perks will work for them the same way they do with you you can mark other beings by just plazing a hand on them and willing it and thinking about the perk in question you can do this an unlimited number of times and you can take back those perks by simply wiling it and you cant give others this perk here (Superpowered Amalgam)]

[System Note: While the system will not stop you from granting perks from other CYOA's that you possess. It will limit the perks that can be shared.]

A really great perk… originally it would have only worked on perks granted by that particular CYOA, which was fixed by the system but it restricted the perks he could share.

Certainly useful, especially in the current situation because if he could get a perk that stops corruption or something and grant it to Ramires, she's immediately heal back to her full power.

Looking at the current perks he could share, it was only two.

Blessed Talent and Artificial Selection. Both of which could be said to be decently powerful too. But useless for Ramiris.

He rolled again.

[Rolling the Gacha: Congratulations You've rolled:

Avatar

You are not actually traveling anywhere, just directing your focus (you will not gain any additional ability for multitasking), to your avatars that exist in different worlds, your main body motionless in a 4th dimension. If all your avatars die, so will you, but as long as at least one is alive, all others will reform (about 1 year per body, though only one at a time). Finding new Worlds works by focusing extremely hard and creating a new avatar in a random world. (Multiverse Explorer Merge)]

[System Choice:

You may choose one of these:

Truly Transcend to 4th dimension and assign the current body as an avatar. You will however no longer be able to use the System to travel to other worlds.

Grant the current body the status of the main body and you will not die as long the main body is alive. You'll be allowed a Single Avatar and while controlling the Avatar your main body will become unconscious/extremely low functioning. This can be improved over time. You'll still be allowed to travel via System's means.

Remove this power completely. (You will not be asked to complete a Quest.) ]

It was rather easy to choose from the three options. Since his system allowed him to at least choose the world, it was of course better to keep that instead of the random world of the 1st option.

And the 3rd option was just useless as it was simply giving up a fairly good power for nothing.

Instantly he felt the ability to create an Avatar but of course he didn't use it for now. Instead he rolled once more.

[Rolling the Gacha: Congratulations You've rolled:

Sebas Tian

Created by Touch-me , he has inherited good and noble traits from the earth cop.

His class is a mixture of monk and butler, his race is a dragonoid but has only shown his humanoid appearance.

Leader of the Pleiades battle maids and an area guardian.

Loyal to Nazarick but his traits can get him in trouble. (Overlord CYOA - Human Reader)]

[You've rolled a Living Being.

As the Summon has pre-set settings. You may only summon them immediately.

Their loyalty to you will be the same loyalty to a Supreme Being of Nazrick.

Note: If in the future you may meet another member of Nazrick, this Summon may choose to change sides if you've not treated them well. If treated well, the summon will let you decide if that Nazrick is truly Nazrick or only an imitation.]

Well.. that was first.

As soon as he clicked of the screen, he found a large Magic circle appear in front of him.

Ramiris who had been sleeping on his head suddenly woke up as magicules were sucked in the magic circles as a Humanoid figure appeared before them.

The pressure alone made the air ripple.

As soon as Sebas appeared he knelt on the ground and greeted Felix.

"Please accept my loyalty and devotion to Lord Felix, the most Heroic of Supreme Beings."

"No need to kneel, come on get up." Felix said causally and Sebas stood up.

"So, what do you remember before coming here?" Felix immediately asked the most important question.

"Hmm… before coming here I remember all the supreme beings leaving us, including Lord Momonga who stayed with us the longest. That's when I felt the call across worlds from you. Realising that the supreme beings have never truly abandoned us, we were just not patient enough to wait for their summoning." Sebas replied with a guilty tone.

"Don't worry about it, what do you remember about me? Before coming here, what was I like?" Felix asked about important question.

"Of course, you were the most Heroic of the Supreme Beings, the only human, the one light in Nazrick." Sebas replied.

Felix paused slightly at that.

"Ohh… so before coming here, you were some leader in this Nazrick organisation. What was it like?" Ramiris who had been silent till now asked.

Felix however didn't know how to answer that. Somehow the CYOA has created a whole backstory for him which he didn't even know.

"You should ask Sebas about that, he'll be happy to explain… wait I should introduce you two before that."

"Ramiris, this is Sebas, a loyal Butler of Nazrick and a Dragonoid. He's pretty chill guy to be honest as long as you're not against Nazrick." Felix said introducing Sebas.

"And Sebas, this is Ramiris, a dear friend of mine. She's a Demon Lord and the Fairy Queen of this world. Though she's currently in her weakened state I'm looking for a way to heal her, meanwhile we'll be in presence of a much cuter Ramiris." Felix said pointing towards his head where Ramiris was sitting.

"It's a great honour to meet you, Lady Ramiris, friend of Lord Felix." Sebas said.

"Oh a Dragonoid, I don't think there's any other Dragonoid other than Milim…maybe I should show her." Ramiris said.

"Not now, we'll have them meet later, okay?" Felix suggested.

As Ramiris started to bother Sebas, Felix did another roll.

[Rolling the Gacha: Congratulations You've rolled:

Purifying Aura

Your aura has a purifying aspect, and by channeling more power through it, you can cleanse all manner of corruption. You'll be able to remove mental conditioning, demonic influences, and even divine curses with enough time and effort. As a bonus, supercharging your aura will burn demonic and eldritch beings, though it will leave your aura in a dormant state for 24 hours afterward.(Isekai Experience CYOA)]

"Oh yes, that's what I'm talking about." Felix suddenly jumped as he got exactly what he was looking for.

"What happened to him?"

"Maybe he has found a new magic branch, after all he is a genius in magic." Sebas replied.

Just then, Felix called Ramiris over.

"If you feel any difference, do tell me." He asked her as he released his Aura. Suddenly he appeared divine as his existence itself invoked a sense of purification.

The air itself seemed to react—heavy, then clear, like a storm being washed away by sunlight.

Ramiris too immediately felt the change, her mind slightly got cleared up and with a simple thought she reached the calculation.

"At this rate I would be completely purified in less than… 2 years." Ramiris said as she flew up and down happily.

For the first time in a while, there was no trace of forced cheer in her voice.

Only genuine hope.
