"What do you mean?" Rudy asked with a puzzled face.
Sera shook her head and said, "I don't know the whole of it; the only thing that I am certain of is that all of it would fall to ruin."
The circle shifted their gaze to the giant cracked wall, and Kalien asked, "So, should we not go there?"
"We have to," she took a step forward. "The return beacon is in there."
Kalien's face darkened, and Rudy simply shrugged. "Let's go."
At his words, Kalien's jaw went agape, and he commented, "Did you not hear her?"
Rudy glanced at him and stated, "What other choice do we even have? Or you'd rather prefer staying in this desert than trying to escape this place?"
Sera agreed with Rudy's thoughts and stepped forward. "We don't have time to stall."
The circle began moving toward the giant wall.
After a few hours of traversing the pale desert, they neared the walls and scanned with their tired gazes.
