Chapter 89 - Chapter 89: VIP Release Testimonial

How should I put this? This book was meant to be a practice piece, and yet it managed to get signed and even reach the VIP release stage. I'd say my luck is pretty good.

I'd like to take this moment to thank my editor, the great Penglai, for fishing me out.

Coming back to the book—the main reason I wanted to write this was that summer break was just too boring. I figured I'd just write a book for fun. It specifically took only three days to write the outline before I started typing away.

The inspiration for this book actually came from the work Giving Douluo a Little Tech Shock.

The imagination in that book provided a massive amount of inspiration! However, because of that, I find myself coming up with new ideas as I write. The outline basically gets modified every few days...

So, regarding the "messy" feeling some readers have mentioned... cough, I can only do my best to improve it. I apologize for that.

Next, regarding the content of this book:

A quick disclaimer—since the Douluo series is so extensive and disorganized with many contradictions, I won't be referencing much of the later content. I will try my best to stick to the original Douluo Dalu II novel and manhua.

The theme of this book is a complete "magical modification" of the Soul Master system and the various developments of soul tools.

Of course, because this is a reincarnated Huo Yuhao rather than a transmigrated one, the protagonist will inevitably have certain mental blind spots. Essentially, all developments will take place within the Soul Master and soul ring systems; there won't be too many "cross-dimensional" things.

For example, things like "soul tool satellites" or "space-based soul tools" will likely not appear.

Additionally, aside from the main theme, there are a large number of female leads. Regarding the harem question, I can only say I won't "collect" them all. Some will have a subordinate-style relationship, and I'll give them a good ending.

(After all, I read the manhua before the novel, and most of the female characters in the manhua are portrayed quite normally.)

As for whether I can handle having so many female leads—don't worry about that. This "Salted Fish" author knows what he's doing.

Then there's the goal for this book... well, as long as I can maintain 500 average subscriptions after three months, I'll write it until the grand finale. That's not too much to ask, right?

I'd be very satisfied just to earn the full-attendance bonus!

Regarding rules for extra updates... we'll see. This "Salted Fish" doesn't quite understand how that works, so I won't set any for now. (If I'm lucky enough to hit 1,000 average subscriptions, I'll add extra chapters immediately!)

Finally, regarding updates: On the first day of the VIP release, I'll drop 10,000 words. 8,000 on the second day. For the rest of the month, I'll try to maintain a daily update of 6,000 words!

Of course, it might occasionally drop to 4,000, which usually means I'm busy and out of drafts.

I don't have many drafts saved up, and my typing speed isn't exactly fast. Plus, I have a pile of things to do every day, so 6,000 words is really the limit of what I can squeeze out!

Lastly, the VIP release officially starts today at 12:00 PM sharp. I hope everyone will show their support!
