Mark opened his eyes slowly and the first thing he noticed was that he was in complete darkness.
"Ugh, what happened?" Mark said, blinking to adjust his eyes.
Mark looked down at his own body and was surprised to find he was completely naked.
"Why am I here?" Mark said out loud, bringing a hand to the back of his neck.
The last thing he remembered was walking toward the dungeon. Then he saw Ely running toward him, and then… nothing.
His memory was blank.
"Great… did I die again? Seriously? What a pain."
Mark stepped forward cautiously, but his foot didn't find solid ground immediately — it dipped a few centimeters before touching an invisible surface that seemed to be the floor.
"Ok, at least I'm not going to fall…"
Despite his nerves, Mark kept moving slowly.
But as was already becoming obvious, there was nothing, only darkness.
"Hello?" Mark tried, raising his voice slightly. "Is anyone here?"
Silence.
"Ely? Aria? Yuki?… Anyone?"
Nothing.
