Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Let the Students Experience the Evils of Society

Upon hearing Mitsusuke threaten him with Sasuke, Itachi's Sharingan spun wildly, finally transforming into the Mangekyo Sharingan.

His younger brother was his only weakness, and he would not allow anyone to harm Sasuke.

Feeling the undisguised killing intent, Mitsusuke scoffed, "Do you want to kill me? Then you can try. Let's see if the genius of the Uchiha Clan can kill this disgrace of the sarutobi clan. I'm looking forward to it."

"Honestly, I also want to see my current strength. I've been pretending to be a pig to eat a tiger for so long that I've almost forgotten my own power."

With that, Mitsusuke extended a finger towards Itachi, and a dazzling yet dangerous light emanated from it.

Itachi's Sharingan spun furiously. He hadn't expected this disgrace of the sarutobi clan to have hidden his strength, and it was a Bloodline Limit he had never seen before.

Soon, Itachi closed his Sharingan. "Is what you told Shisui about the Konoha higher-ups being untrustworthy true?"

Seeing that Itachi had no intention of continuing to fight, Mitsusuke also withdrew his ability. "Whether it's trustworthy or not depends on your own interpretation. If someone tells you to wipe out the entire Uchiha, leaving only Sasuke, then it's untrustworthy."

"If someone tells you to only eliminate the hardliners, it's mostly trustworthy. Eliminating only the hardliners means they are willing to accept an Uchiha that doesn't plot coups. If only Sasuke is left, then it's not acceptance, but using Sasuke to manipulate you into working for them."

Lighting a cigarette, Mitsusuke walked towards his home. After two steps, he stopped and turned to look at Itachi. "One more thing, contact Shisui less in the future. He's too naive; don't let him get involved in this matter. Also, don't tell the Hokage about my affairs. I just want to teach; I don't want to get involved in your Uchiha matters."

"I told you all this because I don't want to make Shisui sad. He's one of my few friends."

After speaking, Mitsusuke left without looking back. He had said enough for today and didn't want to say any more.

Itachi watched Mitsusuke's retreating figure. He had really wanted to attack just now, but his instincts told him not to. If he had, he might have died.

Actually, Mitsusuke didn't know his own strength either, but it was definitely not weak. Aside from the power of the Glint-Glint Fruit, his Ninjutsu attainments were certainly not bad.

Especially his Taijutsu, which could last a few minutes against Guy, excluding Eight Gates Guy.

Coupled with Mitsusuke's immunity to Genjutsu, he truly wasn't afraid of Itachi.

According to his estimation, he could fight Itachi to a draw in a short time, and if he used his trump cards, there was a high chance of killing Itachi.

One thing still surprised Mitsusuke: he hadn't expected Itachi to have already awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan.

In the original story, Itachi only awakened his Mangekyo after witnessing Shisui's death. He didn't know what caused Itachi to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan now.

However, Mitsusuke didn't care; he wasn't interested in the Sharingan.

On the way home, Mitsusuke felt like he had worried himself sick over Shisui.

If it weren't for Shisui, he wouldn't have had any intention of revealing his strength.

Mitsusuke wasn't actually afraid of exposing his strength. He was from the Sarutobi Clan, so those old schemers wouldn't dare do anything to him, and he also had the ability to protect himself.

It's just that if he exposed his strength, Hiruzen Sarutobi might not let him slack off anymore, and that was the real problem.

Within the Uchiha Clan compound, Itachi told his father, the current head of the Uchiha Clan, Uchiha Fugaku, about the day's events.

Fugaku, who usually had a poker face, showed a rare flicker of emotion upon hearing Itachi's words. "Itachi, tell me your thoughts. Do you think Sarutobi Mitsusuke can really resolve the issues between the Uchiha and the Village?"

"I don't know," Itachi shook his head, his tone extremely cold. "But I want to try. There's no room for reconciliation between the Uchiha and the Village anymore. I want to take a gamble."

Fugaku crossed his arms and pondered carefully. After a moment, he still shook his head. "No, we cannot entrust the fate of the Uchiha Clan to a child's promise. Let's reconsider! You continue to infiltrate the Anbu! First, observe the Village's attitude. I'll talk to the clan members again; it's time to rein them in."

As a clan head who was cowardly to the extreme, Fugaku's actions were very consistent with his style: harsh internally, timid externally. It would be strange if the clan members didn't rebel.

The next morning, Mitsusuke and Shisui arrived at the school together.

Upon arriving at the office, Mitsusuke routinely slacked off, which meant sleeping.

There were really too few entertainment options in the Ninja World; there was nothing to do but sleep.

In the afternoon, when it was time for Mitsusuke to teach, he did nothing today. He simply told them to continue refining Chakra, and those who could refine Chakra should practice Substitution Jutsu, and then he fell asleep in the classroom.

He didn't know why, but he had been feeling sleepy a lot lately. If no one disturbed him, he could sleep for twenty hours a day.

He didn't know how long he had slept, but Mitsusuke felt someone push his arm. Opening one eye, he saw Naruto looking at him with an expectant face. "What do you want? Have you learned to refine Chakra? If you have, go practice Substitution Jutsu. Don't disturb my sleep."

"Teacher Mitsusuke, I can't refine Chakra properly at all. Do you have any methods? I..."

"No, get out. Don't disturb my sleep. If you don't know how, go ask someone else. If you disturb my sleep again, I'll kill you."

Choji, eating potato chips, gently nudged Shikamaru with his arm. "How can Teacher Mitsusuke sleep even more than you? Are there no other teachers in the school? Why did they assign us a teacher like this?"

"I think it's pretty good," Shikamaru said with a yawn. "Having a teacher like this is quite nice. At least these next few years will be easier, and we don't have to worry about him contacting our parents, which saves a lot of trouble."

Just as Shikamaru and Choji were talking, Naruto grabbed Mitsusuke's arm and began shaking it frantically. "Teacher, Teacher, don't sleep! Quickly teach me how to refine Chakra! Grandpa Hokage told me to come to you if I needed anything! Hurry up and wake up to teach me!"

Annoyed by Naruto's noise, Mitsusuke opened both eyes this time and took his feet off the desk.

He stood up and stretched, then lit a cigarette for himself. "Phew, I can't do anything with you. Since you want me to train you, don't regret it!"

Naruto unconsciously took two steps back. He had a bad feeling that something unpleasant was about to happen.

It wasn't that Mitsusuke didn't want to slack off anymore; the system had just told him that if he didn't properly instruct Naruto, his first reward would be gone.

Although the Glint-Glint Fruit was tempting, it couldn't be used without sufficient Chakra.

So, Mitsusuke decided to put these brats through some intense training. Since there was no entertainment, he would create some himself, such as: letting these brats experience the evils of society.
