Right after I said the vow, the girl sliced off the chains, setting me free.
"Umm... thank you. What's your name..?" I wonder who she is or why she made that vow with me.
"Yuri. My name is Yuri"
Yuri? As in lily? I guess that's a nice name. I look around the cell. I think I'd want to get out of here.
"Can we get out of here?" I asked.
"Sure, Sakura-chan" Yuri replied.
Wait... how does she know my name!? "How do you know my name?"
Yuri's face flushed red "stop being silly, of course lovers know each other's names" she leads me up the bloodied stairwell.
Outside was chaos, knights were running around killing each other, blood spilled everywhere. The whole place was on fire too, I can smell the flesh of dead soldiers burning.
"What's happening out here!?" I asked Yuri.
"Oh, don't worry, I doubt knights fighting for their lives would notice two women running away, even if they were as cute as us" she replied confidently.
She leads me out of the burning castle, out into the forest. We weaved through the bushes quickly. As dawn nears, we reached a small home by a dirt path, out in a long plain field of grass.
"Welcome to my home, Sakura-chan, so isn't it such a sweet little house?" Yuri announces as she pushes me inside.
It was a small cottage with a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. There was also a fireplace in the living room. Yuri had already started cooking right when she went in.
"Here's your breakfast!" Yuri said, cheerfully handing me a plate of sausage and egg.
I ate it. It didn't taste any different then normal sausage and eggs in my own world. After breakfast, I decided its time to ask what's going on here. I went up to Yuri.
"Yuri. What is going on?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" Yuri replied.
"I mean the explosion, the demon who killed Ragar, the fight in the castle, everything! Don't play dumb with me!" I shouted angrily.
Yuri shrugs "it's just life, stuff happens, but if you want the answer, then you'll have to get if out of me".
The day passes quickly, and night comes.
"Where do I sleep? There's only one bed"
"With me of course, where else?"
No way. There is no way I am sleeping with her. From how she acts, would I even be safe when I sleep? Or could I even go to sleep like that? I ended up sleeping on the floor that night. The next morning, I woke up on Yuri's bed and she was on top of me, staring.
Startled, I sat up, hitting her head "owww..."
"It's fine, my cute little sleepy Sakura" she said, kissing me cheek softly.
I got up, and ate breakfast, after breakfast, I practiced my magic outside, helped out Yuri with her garden, enjoying the simple life, except for the part that I sleep and wake up with a kiss from her. Her job seemed to be a tailor of some sort as she sends off a bunch of clothes she made once in a while.
