The first destination of the campaign was Alfheim.
This was the realm of the elves, beings naturally beautiful and proficient in various magics; however, they were peace-loving and never sought conflict with others.
But war always seemed to find them; such a race has always been the favorite target of invaders.
Just as it was now, a troop of Dark Elves had set their sights on them, harrassing and occupying a homeland, while capturing and killing many elves.
The Asgardian fleet passed through the Bifrost Bridge, their golden warships carving brilliant trails across the starry sky.
Mavuika and Hela stood at the bow of the flagship, behind them three thousand fully armed Asgardian elites and a vanguard of fifty Valkyries led by Brynhildr.
This was Odin's deliberate arrangement; Mavuika and Hela would lead the army as the vanguard, arriving first on the battlefield.
Odin himself remained in the rear, serving both as a deterrent reinforcement and to provide a stage for his two daughters to display their power.
When the Bifrost Bridge descended from the heavens, bringing the fleet to the war zone, the situation was already quite tragic.
The Dark Elves were not satisfied with partial gains; they continued their assault toward the larger elven settlements.
The silver buildings of the Light Elves collapsed in the darkness, and forests withered under the corrosion of dark magic; the cackling of Dark Elves and the wails of Light Elves intertwined into a cruel symphony.
"Let me take the lead!"
Hela was the first to land, the Impact sending five surrounding Dark Elves flying.
Without even standing up, she pressed a single hand to the ground. Dark green Death Divine Power surged like a tide, thrusting dozens of pitch-black giant swords from the earth, instantly impaling the charging Dark Elf squad.
Then, a dark green Shadow Blade coalesced in her hand as she leaped toward the Dark Elf camp.
As the Shadow Blade slashed, the dark green energy spread like a tide; wherever it passed, the Dark Elves' magic shields shattered instantly. Those Dark Elves engaged in Burning, killing, and looting were struck by the Shadow Blade and immediately lost their lives.
Mavuika followed closely behind, her long golden-red hair Burning like fire, appearing exceptionally bright even under the sunlight.
Golden-red flames condensed into dozens of Flame Spears before her. With a wave of her hand, the Flame Spears shot into the crowd of Dark Elves like a meteor shower.
"Boom—!!"
Violent explosions rang out across the battlefield; the Dark Elves suffered heavy losses instantly under this strike.
"Enemy attack! It's those damned Asgardians..." the Dark Elf Commander roared, turning his direction.
Then, he saw the light.
Mavuika hovered in mid-air, her hands joined in front of her chest. A miniature Sun was born and expanded in her palms, its radiance dispelling the darkness pervading the battlefield.
While bringing light back to the elves, it also struck terror into the hearts of those Dark Elves.
Facing such great power, the Dark Elves knew they no longer had any chance of victory.
They began to flee in panic, fearing that if they were a step too slow, they would be Melted by that Sun.
Mavuika simply watched them flee calmly, neither continuing her attack nor pursuing them.
Hela, however, took the opportunity to swing her blade, slaying many Dark Elves who fell behind.
Seeing that the enemy had completely scattered, Mavuika did not hurl the terrifying miniature Sun in her hand to the ground, but instead slowly controlled the power to dissolve it within her hands.
If this strike had landed, it would have caused significant damage to the land of Alfheim below.
If it could be avoided, Mavuika naturally would not use it lightly.
She then slowly descended from the air. Hela came to Mavuika's side, waving her hand to disperse the blades formed from Death Divine Power.
"A bit boring, sister. The enemies in this first battle were far too weak!"
Clearly, Hela was not very satisfied; she felt the battle had ended before she even finished warming up.
The army that followed them only now began to land one after another.
The battle had been easily concluded by Mavuika and Hela alone; these Asgardian troops only needed to perform the post-war cleanup.
The rescued Light Elves came forward one by one, expressing their sincere gratitude to the two of them.
"Your Highness Mavuika, Your Highness Hela, we are deeply grateful for Asgard's aid to Alfheim. The Light Elf race will forever remember this kindness!"
The Battle of Alfheim was just the beginning.
Over the next three years, the Asgardian fleet swept through the Nine Realms like a golden storm.
The sisters, Mavuika and Hela, were invincible along the way, sweeping across one battlefield after another and planting the flag of Asgard across most of the Nine Realms.
Every campaign deepened the Nine Realms' awe and fear of the sisters.
In the Dwarven Kingdom, Svartalfheim, when the invasion force of Fire Giants attempted to breach the dwarves' final line of defense, Mavuika plummeted into the center of the battlefield like a meteor.
The earth trembled as countless scorching golden veins Swirled out from her palms, spreading across the entire battlefield like tree roots; wherever they passed, enemies fell in swaths like mown wheat.
The Dwarven Kingdom fully aligned with Asgard. Dwarf King Eitri signed an alliance agreement with Odin, gaining the protection of Asgard.
In Midgard, human tribes were still fighting amongst themselves. The somewhat familiar scene couldn't help but remind Mavuika of the Natlan of her past life.
She did not choose military suppression; instead, she used solar fire to demonstrate Asgard's power, while simultaneously teaching the human tribes techniques for farming and iron smelting, telling them that only peaceful coexistence could bring prosperity.
The leaders of the human tribes were won over by Mavuika's wisdom and power. They revered Mavuika as the sun goddess and Asgard as the realm of gods, building temples for worship and writing myths and legends to be passed down to future generations.
In Niflheim and Helheim, Mavuika's light dispelled the thick fog, and the souls attempting to rush out of the underworld dissolved under the sunlight.
Then, Hela used her powerful Death Divine Power as a constraint to control the souls, completely sealing off Niflheim and Helheim and cutting off any possibility of souls invading other Worlds.
After three years of war, Asgard's territory and prestige expanded at an incredible speed.
Aside from Jotunheim of the Frost Giants and Muspelheim of the Fire Giants—the two most powerful giant kingdoms that still resisted stubbornly—the other seven realms had all submitted or formed alliances.
The titles of "Asgard's sun goddess and Goddess of Death" were sung in every corner of the Nine Realms, becoming legends known to everyone.
The poems of the Light Elves praised how Mavuika's light healed pain and brought hope; in the legends of the dwarves, Hela was as elegant and lethal as a queen of the underworld; the historical records of the Vanir chronicled how the sisters quelled a century-long border war in just seven days.
Even the captured enemies in the prisoner camps would talk with awe about that Sun on the battlefield and the shadow-like death that followed it.
In Asgard's Golden Palace, a new star map was drawn, with conquered Worlds marked in gold, shimmering with the light of peace.
