The soft blue glow of the stasis vats illuminated the cavernous main hall of the Primordial Gene Sanctum. Imperial artificers worked with swift discipline along the perimeter, anchoring heavy brass containment pylons to lock the ancient stone chamber. Deep within the central bronze altar, the preserved Sovereign Dragon Gene Matrix pulsed with a golden, high frequency radiance.
Kale Ardentis stood before the central altar, his dark grey Master robes reflecting the warm golden light. Around his neck, the white gold Master medallion absorbed the subtle energy shifts vibrating through the obsidian floor. Beside him, Grandmaster Lazek Oberon took a slow puff from his curved smoking pipe, grey smoke drifting toward the high stone arches.
