Two days later, Arin finally reached civilization.
A massive city appeared beyond the forest.
Huge stone walls surrounded it.
Thousands of people moved through the gates.
Merchants.
Soldiers.
Hunters carrying monster weapons.
Arin stared in amazement.
"So this is a real fantasy city…"
A giant sign stood above the entrance.
Ironhold City.
The City of Hunters.
Guards stood near the gate inspecting travelers.
One of them stopped Arin.
"State your business."
Arin thought for a moment.
"Hunter."
The guard looked him up and down.
"You look young."
Arin shrugged.
"I'm strong."
The guard laughed.
"Everyone says that."
But then something strange happened.
A nearby crystal device suddenly glowed.
The guard's expression changed instantly.
"What…?"
The crystal detected Arin's energy.
And displayed a shocking result.

The guard stepped back.
"Unknown…?"
That result almost never happened.
It meant one thing.
The person in front of them possessed a power the device couldn't measure.
The guard quickly opened the gate.
"You may enter."
Arin smiled slightly.
