"Get up."
High Angel Hensen stood before Kai with what looked like a wooden plate in his hand.
He waited for a second but gained no reply.
Roughly, High Angel Hensen grabbed Kai by his hair and yanked his head up before forcing his mouth to open by pinching his face and then pouring the liquid on the wooden plate down into his throat.
It was extremely bitter, and the taste snapped Kai back to reality.
Kai wanted to vomit it out, but High Angel Hensen kept his head up and covered his mouth.
"Drink it, or I'll break your throat."
Under duress, Kai had no choice but to swallow the unknown liquid forced past his lips. High Angel Hensen watched closely, waiting until he was certain that Kai had truly drunk it instead of pretending to drink it.
Once he was sure, he rose and circled back behind Kai.
"What…" Kai's voice was weak and breathless. "What did you make me drink?"
