Coach Tim Kennedy was talking about the Monarchs' game plan for the second half. He emphasized high-intensity defense, discipline and a "next play mentality."
He also reminded them of the demanding and grueling practice sessions they've been through to build their physical and mental toughness. "It was time to see the results."
His words motivated the players to focus more in the second half, rather than get comfortable with their double digit lead.
As this was happening, Lucas was sitting down and looking at the ground with a towel over his head. He was checking out every single thing about the system.
"Let's start with the notifications that kept ringing repeatedly in my ears during the game." Lucas murmured with excitement.
'Fortunately, the system window didn't show or I would've been in a whole lot of trouble.'
He thought to himself while feeling relieved.
