Chapter 1: The Rainy Day
It was a cold rainy evening.
Arjun was standing alone at the bus stop, waiting for the last bus to go home. The rain was falling heavily, and the road was almost empty.
Suddenly, a girl came running and stood beside him. She was completely wet from the rain. Her long black hair was covering part of her face.
Arjun looked at her for a moment. He had never seen such a beautiful girl before.
The girl looked at him and smiled softly.
"Excuse me… is the last bus gone?" she asked.
Arjun shook his head.
"No… it will come in a few minutes."
For a moment, they both stood silently while the rain continued to fall.
Then the girl said,
"My name is Maya."
Arjun smiled and replied,
"I am Arjun."
Neither of them knew that this small meeting on a rainy day would completely change their lives.
