*****
A gunshot cracked through the stillness of the forest like lightning tearing the silence apart.
The bullet wizzed past, then another – closes this time.
"Aah" Arya screamed as pain exploded in her lag , Her knee buckled , sending her sprawling into the dirt, leaves sticking to her face as branches scratches her arms. Her breathing turned ragged almost animalistic , as she crawled forward –desperate terrified.
Behind her, voices emerged from the shadows.
" Stop! you can't ran forever! "
" We will fend you , Arya! "
But she didn't stop, couldn't don't now .
She pushed past roots and stones, dragging her bleeding lag through the mud, her breaths came in gasps. Then – lights .
Could, metal lights.
Tracks.
She'd reached the railway line.
Her hazel eyes widened with fragile hope as she stumbled to her feet, limping toward the tracks but just as she stepped over the first rail , her foot slipped – cought between tow metal joints. Panic surged.
" No, no no –!
She struggled to free herself, yanking desperately at her lag. Then came the sound.
A horn . Loud . Approaching.
The train.
The voices behind her faded into the growing roar of metal wheels. She looked up as the blinding headlights surged closer.
Then –
Screech . Impact . Silence.
Blood splattered across the rails...
The man in the conductor's booth didn't blink. He simply exhaled smoke from a cigarette and muttered " It worked ".
One Day Earlier:
The sun was gentle, barely breaking through the clouds as students filled the courtyard of Graywood Academy. Among than, Arya Tylor leaned against the fountain, twirling a pen between her fingers. Her honey – colored hair glowed slightly in the light, and her eyes– hazel and sharp– scanned the crowds with subtle alertness.
Next to her sat– Eva bright smile, confident posture, yet something unreadable in her gaze.
" Eva " , Arya asked suddenly, watching her from the corner of her eyes.
" Would you ever betray me? "
Eva blinked, caught off– guard. " What kind of question is that? " .
" Just answer ".
" of course no " , Eva said, laughing.
" You're my best friend, Don't be weird ".
But Arya didn't laugh , Her eyes lingered searching Eva's face for any crack any tremble. Ther was none.
Later that day, results came out. By some strange twist of fate , both Arya and Eva were placed in the same advanced class. They exchanged amused glances as they walked through the halls towards their new classroom, But the warmth quickly vanished the moment they passed a tell woman standing at the door.
Eva's mother.
Could. Elegant. And unmistakably disapproving.
Her eyes fixed on Arya like knives.
" you again " the woman whispered harshly to Arya as Eva entered the room ahead.
" I thought I told you – stay away from my daughter ".
" I'm used to threats," Arya replied quietly " and I don't take orders."
The woman leaned closer.
" You're going to regret this. Mark my word. "
The next day moved like fog.
After class, Arya walked with Eva through quiet corridor. The school was nearly empty.
That's when the man appeared.
Suit. Sunglasses. An official tone.
" Arya Tylor? "
" yes? "
" your sister's is the hospital. It's serious. Came with me. Now. "
Arya froze " What happened? "
" We don't have time – just came."
She hesitated only a second before following him dawn the hall.
But something felt wrong.
He walked too fast. Too controlled. And the moment they exited the building, her
Instincts screamed.
She turned to run–
– but it was too late.
A sharp sting in her neck.
Darkness...
When Arya opened her eyes, the first thing she noticed was the cold.
The second – the ropes binding her hands.
The third – the mask.
A woman stood before her. Full black. Face hidden by a white, black mask –
expressionless and chilling.
They were inside a wooden cabin. Abandoned windows boarded. The air smelled like rust and damp soil.
The woman voice was calm and delicate.
" welcome,Arya Tylor,You're right on time. "
" Wher am I ? " Arya shouted , heart pounding.
" Somewhere far from anyone who can hear you scream, at ten o'clock tonight we'll begin or little game. "
" What game? "
" Organ removal. While you're still alive. "
Arya froze.
The woman leaned closer whispering.
" Three hours laft. Try not to did before we start. "
She laft, locking the door behind her.
Alone..
Three hours to did.
But Arya had never been one to wait for death.
She scanned the room. Found rusted nail.
Used it worked on the ropes, ignoring the cuts it left behind.
Minutes felt like hours.
Finally – free.
Than came the guard.
A man . Bored . Chewing gum.
" Hey! " Arya called pretending panic.
" Let's make a deal. I'll pay you, My family is rich."
He snorted.
" Yeah? You don't look rich."
" Because you kidnapped me,genius."
He hesitated.
Money 💰..
Temptation...
Finally, he walked over, knife in hand.
" Try anything, and I'll still your throat."
Arya nodded slowly.
He cut the last roop.
She smiled.
Then plunged the hidden knife she stole straight into his throat.
He gasped . Fell . Died..
She stood over his body, panting. Blood on her hand.
She ran.
Through the woods.
Then – gunshots.
One hit her lag.
She crawled.
Then came the tracks.
The train 🚅
Her foot – cought.
Impact..
Blood...
Stillness...
Or so they thought..
When the masked woman arrived at the site, she found only blood and torn clothes. No body..
She knelt. Touched the stain.
" She's gone." She whispered.
" To bad. We were just getting started ."
She stood to leave.
But in the trees...
In the darkness...
Tow hazel eyes glowed...
Alive...
