Chapter 61 - Chapter 61 – The Valkyrie and the God Above Attilan

Yun Chen's healing didn't rely only on heat vision.

While the thin crimson beam sterilized and sealed Crystal's wound, another ability activated quietly.

Energy extraction.

But this time it worked in reverse.

Using the Oracle system's unlocked function, Yun Chen triggered a special ability called feedback.

He opened his palm.

A mass of pure energy condensed within it before flowing gently into Crystal's injured body.

The energy was warm and vibrant, overflowing with life.

It was pure vitality itself.

The effect was immediate.

The terrible wound that moments ago looked fatal began repairing itself at a visible rate. Torn tissue regenerated, blood flow stabilized, and the internal damage rapidly reversed.

Crystal's eyes snapped open.

The girl gasped softly as consciousness returned.

Her injuries—injuries that should have been impossible to heal so quickly—had almost completely disappeared.

Medusa froze.

Then she threw her arms around her sister.

Tears poured down her face.

Crystal was confused at first. She had only vague memories of collapsing on the battlefield, but she clearly understood one thing.

She had been standing at the gates of death.

Yet now she was alive.

The emotional shock overwhelmed her, and she clung tightly to her sister as tears filled her eyes as well.

While the sisters cried together, Yun Chen quietly turned away.

His work here was finished.

But Medusa suddenly realized something.

She looked up and saw the tall black figure beginning to leave.

"God… where are you going?" she asked anxiously.

Her voice carried genuine reverence.

Without realizing it, the title she used had changed.

What began as gratitude had now turned into something deeper.

Faith.

In her eyes, the man before her had become nothing less than a divine being.

Yun Chen paused briefly and raised an eyebrow.

"When I need you," he said calmly, "someone will come for you."

Medusa lowered her head respectfully.

"I will follow your command."

Crystal gripped her sister's wrist tightly.

When Yun Chen's black figure finally disappeared into the night sky, she turned toward Medusa with red eyes.

"Sister… what did you just do?"

Medusa wiped the remaining tears from her face.

"This was the price," she said quietly. "Anything that could save your life is worth paying."

Crystal shook her head weakly.

"The price is too high…"

Before the conversation could continue—

Boom!

The sound of explosions echoed across Attilan once again.

Buildings collapsed and trees shattered as battle continued in the distance.

But this time the cries that followed were different.

They were Kree voices.

Crystal looked toward the battlefield in shock.

"Are… those Kree soldiers?"

She could hardly believe what she was seeing.

The ruthless invaders who had terrorized Attilan were now the ones screaming in fear.

Medusa's expression carried a faint trace of reverence.

"Everything has its fate," she said softly.

Across Attilan, the battle was still raging.

"Traitor!"

A furious roar echoed through the burning city.

The Kree soldiers had once dominated the battlefield using their strength and advanced weapons.

But now they faced someone else.

Someone who was just as terrifying.

Carol Danvers hovered in the air.

Her expression was cold as golden energy blazed across her body.

"You should have killed me during your last scheme," she said calmly. "Now it's too late."

The Kree soldiers snarled angrily.

"Traitor!"

They charged forward recklessly.

But the attack was meaningless.

A brilliant golden beam erupted from Carol's fingertips.

Whoosh!

The beam pierced straight through a Kree soldier, vaporizing him instantly.

The energy didn't stop there.

It continued forward and slammed directly into a hovering Kree aircraft.

Boom!

The ship exploded in midair.

Carol watched another aircraft attempting to escape into the sky.

A faint smile appeared on her face.

She raised her hand.

Within her control, cosmic energy responded instantly. Carol could manipulate electromagnetic radiation and gravitational forces with terrifying precision.

She clenched her fingers slightly.

Invisible gravitational pressure suddenly pulled downward.

Several Kree aircraft flying overhead were dragged violently from the sky.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The ships crashed into the ground like falling meteors.

Although the effect resembled Yun Chen pulling satellites with the Power Stone, the scale felt far less overwhelming.

Still, for the Kree soldiers below, it was devastating.

"Damn woman!"

The Kree understood very well how powerful Carol truly was.

She was a living weapon.

In the past, the Skrull Empire had suffered terribly at her hands.

Now the Kree were experiencing that same nightmare.

"Kill the traitor!"

The soldiers charged forward in a frenzy.

To them, Carol was a disgrace to the Kree Empire. Even if they died, they wanted to drag her down with them.

But Carol showed no mercy.

Golden photon energy erupted around her like a storm of light.

Blinding beams filled the sky as explosions echoed across the battlefield.

At the same time, an energy shield formed around her body, effortlessly absorbing incoming attacks.

Her offensive and defensive abilities worked in perfect harmony.

Carol's control over cosmic energy was extraordinary, and her body had long since evolved beyond normal limits.

She shot into the air and smashed straight through a Kree aircraft.

Moments later she landed among the soldiers below.

One punch.

A towering Kree warrior exploded under the impact.

In many ways, Carol resembled a female version of Superman.

"Wonderful!"

Within the city of Attilan, the Inhumans began to regain their courage.

They had been caught completely off guard by the invasion and had suffered heavy losses. But seeing the enemy suddenly pushed back filled them with renewed hope.

"Free the prisoners!"

One of the Inhumans shouted.

Many captured Inhumans who had been bound earlier were quickly released.

As the Kree army began collapsing, the Inhumans finally fought back.

Their unique powers erupted across the battlefield.

One Inhuman released streams of flame, burning several Kree soldiers instantly.

Another used psychic abilities to manipulate enemy minds, forcing Kree warriors to attack each other.

Without the sonic suppression weapons, the Inhumans unleashed their full strength.

"Kill them!"

"Drive the Kree out!"

"Hail the goddess!"

"Valkyrie! You're amazing!"

The citizens of Attilan shouted excitedly.

To them, Carol looked exactly like a warrior goddess descending from the heavens.

Their gratitude toward her was obvious.

"Enough, Kree."

A deep voice suddenly echoed across the battlefield.

A man stepped forward.

He opened his mouth slightly.

A devastating shockwave erupted instantly.

Boom!

Several Kree aircraft exploded midair under the impact.

"It's Black Bolt!"

"The king of the Inhumans!"

"I heard he never speaks because his voice carries destructive power!"

The Inhumans watched in awe.

Black Bolt glanced briefly toward Carol.

To his surprise, the blonde woman didn't seem impressed.

Her calm expression suggested she had already seen far greater displays of power.

Boom!

The burning wreckage of destroyed ships began falling toward the city.

One enormous aircraft was plunging directly toward Attilan.

"Not good!"

The Inhumans panicked.

The ship's trajectory was terrible.

If it crashed, countless civilians would die.

Carol frowned.

She prepared to fly upward—

But suddenly the falling ship stopped.

It froze in midair.

Everyone looked up.

Far above the city, a single figure hovered beneath the massive vessel.

A sincere smile appeared on Carol's face.

The Inhumans stared in disbelief.

Because beneath the enormous hundred-meter warship, a lone black-clad figure held it aloft with one arm.
