Chapter 101 - Chapter 101 – Looting the Stars, One Empire at a Time

On Neptune, new arrivals descended without ceremony—the dwarven craftsmen had come.

King Eitri still carried a trace of hesitation deep in his heart. Being bound completely to the Kryptonian Empire was not a decision he had embraced willingly, but reality had forced his hand. The escalating slaughter across the cosmos, the overwhelming might displayed again and again, had crushed any lingering resistance. Under that pressure, he finally bowed his head and accepted the inevitable.

Eternal loyalty to the Empire. Absolute submission to Superman.

From this day forward, the dwarves would no longer supply weapons to the scattered interstellar empires. Every ounce of their legendary craftsmanship would now serve a single purpose—forge the finest rune-etched weapons for the soldiers of His Majesty. There would be no neutrality anymore, no middle ground. Only allegiance.

Neptune itself had become something entirely different. By rough estimation, the planet was at least twice the size of Earth, its vast surface stretching endlessly beneath alien skies. Yet what truly transformed its appearance wasn't its size—it was what now orbited it.

A satellite drifted silently through space, radiating a faint, dying glow. It was the remnants of a star core once used by the dwarves for forging divine weapons. Now, it had been forcibly relocated here by Ethan Drake.

The sheer scale of that act—moving a dying stellar core across space and anchoring it in orbit—was enough to leave even the dwarves speechless. It wasn't just power. It was dominion over reality itself.

Seeing this, Eitri's final hesitation shattered completely. The last weight in his heart collapsed, and he fully surrendered to the ruler of the Kryptonian Empire without reservation.

Then came war.

A sharp tearing sound split the sky.

The ground below darkened as an immense shadow swallowed the city in its wake. Suspended high above, like a fortress carved from nightmare and steel, hovered the Kryptonian World Engine.

A moment later, it fired.

The explosion roared across the surface, and a city vanished beneath an ocean of fire. Flames surged skyward, devouring structures, streets, and lives in a single overwhelming burst of destruction.

The Kree responded instantly.

Fighter squadrons screamed across the sky, their engines blazing as they unleashed volleys of high-energy missiles. The barrage streaked forward with precision, aimed directly at the massive construct—but before the missiles could even approach their target, something unnatural happened.

They faltered.

Then they dropped.

One by one, the missiles veered off course, dragged downward by an invisible force, before slamming into the ground below. Explosions rippled across the city, turning entire districts into shattered ruin.

Only then did the Kree realize the truth.

A gravitational field.

An overwhelming, all-encompassing gravitational distortion surrounded the World Engine, bending everything within its range. Nothing could touch it—not even light debris, not even a stray particle drifting through space.

The fighters didn't have time to adjust.

Several ships flew straight into the field before they could react. Their systems failed instantly, control lost as they were yanked from the sky like birds struck mid-flight.

Pilots screamed over open channels as their crafts spiraled downward uncontrollably. The impact came seconds later, fire blooming across the ground as wreckage scattered in all directions.

Panic spread.

"Pull back! Get out of there!"

But retreat wasn't enough.

The World Engine retaliated.

Its surface rippled as Kryptonian nanofibers surged outward, writhing like living tendrils. They extended rapidly, snapping through the air with terrifying speed before latching onto distant fighters.

The moment contact was made, the ships were dragged helplessly through the sky, caught like insects in the grasp of something far beyond them.

There was no resistance. No countermeasure.

Within minutes, the Kree forces were completely overwhelmed.

The World Engine moved through their city like an unstoppable beast, crushing everything in its path while harvesting resources with ruthless efficiency. Entire districts were stripped bare, their infrastructure dismantled and absorbed as if the planet itself were being devoured.

This was Krypton's pride.

Its ultimate war machine.

And now it was loose upon the Kree world.

The people of Planet Neil hadn't even understood what was happening until it was too late. One moment, the sky had been clear. The next, an alien construct of impossible scale had appeared above them without warning.

No signals. No approach. No defense.

The reason was simple.

Ethan Drake.

With the Space Stone in his possession, the concept of borders had become meaningless. No fortress could stop him. No distance could protect against him. He could enter any territory at will, open a spatial gateway, and bring devastation with him.

And that was exactly what he had done.

In mere moments, the Kree Empire's most prestigious life energy base on Planet Neil was completely looted. The facility housed the purest genetic nutrient solutions in their entire empire—resources critical for sustaining and expanding Krypton's growing power.

Ethan didn't hesitate.

He took everything.

High above the planet, reinforcements finally arrived.

A massive Kree fleet descended from orbit, warships blotting out the stars as they surrounded the area. Their formation stretched across the sky, an overwhelming display of military might that dwarfed anything deployed so far.

Among them was something even more terrifying.

A weapon designed for annihilation.

The Kree had deployed a star-destroying cannon—an artificial construct capable of erasing entire planets with a single blast. Its presence alone sent a clear message.

They were done holding back.

Ethan looked up at the formation, a faint smile tugging at his lips.

"Interesting."

Did they really think this would stop him?

He raised his hand casually and snapped his fingers.

The air trembled.

Ripples spread outward, distorting space itself as though the sky had become the surface of a disturbed ocean. The massive World Engine began to flicker, its form wavering as the fabric of reality twisted around it.

"We'll meet again soon."

As his voice faded, the World Engine dissolved into the rippling void, vanishing completely without a trace. A construct of such immense size disappearing in an instant only proved one thing—his control over space had reached an entirely new level.

With minimal energy, he could amplify his abilities endlessly, refining them, evolving them, pushing them far beyond their original limits.

That was the advantage of the Ultimate Evolution Module.

And he was only getting started.

Planet Neil's life energy base was gone.

One of the Kree Empire's most vital scientific facilities had been stripped clean, leaving behind nothing but devastation. The loss hit hard, sending shockwaves through their command structure.

Fury followed.

The Supreme Accusers were enraged beyond reason, their authority shaken as report after report flooded in. Even the Supreme Intelligence was caught off guard.

Ethan's growth had exceeded all projections.

"This isn't the first time," it concluded coldly. "And it won't be the last."

It was right.

The raids continued.

Across the empire, one disaster followed another. The most advanced military factory in the Griffin Galaxy was stripped of its production lines. Entire weapon systems vanished overnight, leaving the facility crippled.

On Red Wing Star, another life energy base was looted.

In the Small Magellanic Cloud, three interstellar shipyards were completely sacked.

The reports didn't stop.

Each one worse than the last.

The Kree Empire was being dismantled piece by piece.

"Damn that lunatic!"

The Supreme Accusers were losing control.

Ethan, emboldened by his success, had become increasingly reckless. With his ability to move freely through space, he could deploy the World Engine anywhere, at any time, with devastating efficiency.

There was no warning.

No defense.

Only loss.

"Who's going to stop him?" one of them demanded, his voice cracking under pressure. "Block the spatial coordinates! Lock everything down! I don't want to see another breach like this!"

Orders were issued rapidly.

All major military installations were placed on high alert. Defensive measures were reinforced across the board. New protocols were implemented in an attempt to counter his spatial incursions.

But even as they scrambled to respond, a new realization struck them.

He had set his sights on something else.

The Death Star.

A weapon unlike any other.

A superlaser capable of destroying an entire planet with a single, focused blast. It was the ultimate symbol of Kree military supremacy, a weapon designed to ensure absolute dominance in interstellar warfare.

And now—

"He's taken it."

The words came from the Supreme Intelligence itself, its tone unusually tense.

For the first time, even it couldn't remain indifferent.

"What?"

"He got the Death Star."

The room erupted into chaos.

"He actually stole it?!" someone shouted, disbelief turning into outright panic. "That damn bastard—now he's got another weapon to threaten us with!"

The Death Star had always been theoretical at first—a concept born from the ambition to create the ultimate weapon. But over time, it had become reality.

A weapon capable of erasing worlds.

A single shot, and an entire planet would cease to exist.

And now, that power belonged to Ethan Drake.

He had taken it from the Kree Empire without hesitation.
