The school corridors looked normal now, but for Jihan and Imama, nothing was the same.
The horrors of the basement, Areeba's secret, and Uncle Fahad's protective presence had left permanent marks on their hearts and minds.
"Jihan… tumhe yaad hai first day?" Imama asked with a soft smile.
Jihan held her hand and teased,
"Kaise bhool sakta hoon? Tumhare haath me woh mark, aur mera heart almost stop ho gaya tha."
Imama blushed and said,
"Bas, ab woh sab past me chhodo. Ab hum dono saath hain."
Then Jihan whispered, "kya tumko yaad hai (jihan mere Kareeb aao)"
Imama laughed, "mujhe pata tha yeh tum aur Ahmad ka plan hai bcz mere room ki light nhi gyi SIRF tumhare room aur jab mai thi tabhi....maine socha ap itni mehnat krr rahe hai toh thori aur help krr dun"
Jihan smiled, "jab maine tumhare kareeb aaya meri dil ki dhadkan bhot tez hui lekin kuch pal sukoon ke pal bann gye"
Imama giggled, "Areyy...ap bhi naa"
School life now felt like a dream. They were openly together—lunch breaks, library sessions, hallway jokes, teasing messages… and supporting each other through exam stress.
One day, in the corridor, Jihan gently held Imama's hand and whispered, "Tumhe pata hai, tumhare bina mera school boring lagta hai."
Imama lightly pushed him and tried to hide her smile, "Stop it… tum bas cheesy ho."
Uncle Fahad quietly kept an eye on their safety, ensuring that the basement's shadows and Areeba's past remained closed.
"Baccho… basement ka tension chhodo. Maine ensure kiya ki ab wahan koi danger na ho."
Jihan looked at him with gratitude, "Thank you, uncle… seriously. Without aap, hum nahi kar pate."
Fahad smiled softly, "Bas, apni zindagi khushi se jiyo, aur kabhi basement ke shadows me mat jao."
"Imama jihan tumko pata hai ab barish ka mousam hai Kya apko pasand hai barish Bhot zada ki tum soch bhi nhi sakte"
Jihan smiled, "areey baba theek hai"
The next day…
On a rainy day, they were studying in the library.
Jihan secretly slipped a small note into Imama's notebook:
"Tumhare bina mera brain bhi confuse hai."
"meri zindagi tumhare bina adhuri hai"
Imama read the notes, blushed, and whispered softly, "Tum… cheeky ho."
Jihan winked and lightly touched her hand.
Their laughter echoed through the library, and for a moment, even the shadows of the school seemed friendly.
During a stressful exam week, Imama's hand trembled slightly.
Jihan held it tightly, "Relax… main yahan hoon."
Imama smiled softly, thinking to herself, "Bas yahi feeling hamesha chahiye."
Two Years Later – Wedding Day
Time had flown. Jihan and Imama's love had grown into something beautiful and unbreakable.
On their wedding day, Imama looked radiant in her white dress, and Jihan, both confident and nervous, stood beside her in a black suit.
"Tum ready ho?" Jihan asked softly.
Blushing, Imama replied, "Tum mere saath hamesha ho na?"
Jihan held her hand tightly, "Bas tumhare saath. Ab aur koi nahi."
Uncle Fahad stood proudly, "Finally… shadows ab sirf memories me hi rahenge."
Areeba's spirit was finally at peace, and all the secrets of the basement were closed.
Friends and family laughed, celebrated, and shared joy. Ahmad teased, "Bhai… ab tum officially husband!"
Jihan smiled and whispered, "Bas tumhara support chahiye tha, aur tumne bhi help ki."
Ahmad teased further, "bhabhi apko pata hai usdin ap iske room mai thi toh isne andhr nhi aane diya dhakka Dekr bhar nikal diya"
Imama laughed, "mujhe bataya Ahmad sabzi lene aaaya tha"
Everyone laughed.
Jihan chuckled, "sab 1 baar engagement karte aur mera mann krta 100 barr krne kaa"
Imama looked shocked at him.
He smiled and explained, "bhai logo sirf imama se aur kisi se nhi, bcz maine engagement akele krr li thi ab sabke samne offical ceremony hai"
Everyone laughed and encouraged them to exchange rings.
They slid the rings onto each other's fingers, and Imama whispered, "apne mujhe Dara Diya tha"
Jihan laughed, and everyone cheered, yelling, "kiss kro!"
They shared a gentle kiss as everyone celebrated.
Hahaha… ahhh!
Jihan held Imama in his arms,
"begum chalen engagement hogyi ab shaadi krr ke LEJAUN ga sabke samne se"
Everyone laughed, shouting #besthusband.
A few days later, Jihan said softly,
"Agar ap hukam karen gyi toh mai har voh kaam kr dunga jo ap impossible smjhti hai"
Imama blushed.
"Imama ap sirf meri wife nhi meri zindagi hai aur apse meri jeene ki wajh hai"
"Yaa allah" mujhe per itna pyaar aaraha is Shaqs ko"
Jihan continued,
"Mohtarma apko pata hai mai ab sukoon se sota hun apse Milne ke baad pahle mai padhai parties mai busy rehta tha lekin apko party alcohol se nafrat thi maine sab chor diya"
Imama smiled warmly, "Jii haan imama ab mai apke jaise hi 5 waqt namaz and quran padhunga"
Imama asked, "Mujhe se milne ke baad sukoon kaisa ???"
Jihan smiled,
"Imama jaise ki mujhe pahle koi ladki pasand nhi thi apko 1 nazar mai pasand kara aur apko pehle jo engagement ring pehnaya tha so voh mai bass dekhna chaata tha ki ap accept krengyi ?? Lekin apne jab haan bola toh meri hosh udh gyi fir ak excitement aur thi apko sirf meri banne ke liye mrs. Imama"
Forever Promise
"Tumhe pata hai, Imama… first day se main "sirf tumhara tha." Jihan whispered softly.
Imama blushed, "Aur main hamesha tumhari…"
Finally, they made a forever promise to each other.
The shadows of the basement, Areeba's past, and the school's mysteries were now only memories, leaving behind love, happiness, and peace.
