Synopsis
The day the Rapture happened, the world changed forever. Millions vanished without explanation. Planes fell from the sky. Cities collapsed into panic. And the sky itself began to rage with unnatural storms. For the ones left behind, the nightmare had only begun. As governments struggle to restore order, a new global power begins to rise—one that demands absolute loyalty and forces humanity to accept a mysterious mark tied to the number 666, described in the Book of Revelation. Those who refuse are hunted. Those who accept it surrender their souls. In the middle of the first great storm of the Tribulation, a woman dies giving birth to twins. Two ordinary children. No powers. No divine protection. No destiny written in the stars. Yet as they grow up in a world drowning in fear and deception, they choose a dangerous path: teaching others to remain faithful and reject the mark—no matter the cost. But in a world ruled by fear, truth is the most dangerous weapon of all. And faith… may demand the ultimate sacrifice.

Chapter 1 - 1

Fire! Lighting! Boom! *Scream*

"Go!,go!,go!" A man shouted dressed in a fancy suit that should have been luxurious but now stained with mud and designed by blood in the worst way possible.

"That boulder looks unstable!" A girl with blood stained blonde hair said, her gown was ripped in different areas and she looked extremely miserable. Why won't she....smudged makeup and tattered clothing, even the blood was a factor!

"If you don't want to be struck by lightning or eaten alive by those giant spider locusts," the man snarled, pointing toward a dark opening in the mountainside, "then get your fucking ass inside that cave!"

The woman shuddered.

Then she finally turned and ran inside

Both of them rushed into the cave just as another flash of lightning tore across the sky.

Inside, the cave smelled damp and ancient.

Water dripped slowly from the ceiling, echoing softly against the stone.

The two collapsed at the far end, gasping for breath.

For several minutes, neither of them spoke.

The woman wrapped her arms around herself, shaking uncontrollably as thunder rolled outside.

Finally, she whispered weakly, "It seems there really is a God… because this is fucking unnatural."

"Shut up," the man snapped instantly.

His voice was sharp and angry, filled with something deeper than fear.

"There is no God. This is just a chemical disturbance in the atmosphere."

The woman flinched.

"But..."

"No buts!" he barked. "The scientists said—"

CRACK.

A blinding bolt of lightning shot through the cave entrance.

For a split second, the entire cave turned white.

Then the lightning struck the man directly.

The sound was deafening.

His body jerked violently before collapsing to the ground like a broken puppet.

The force of the strike hurled the woman backward.

She slammed into the stone wall with a sickening thud, the air knocked violently from her lungs.

"—ugh!"

Blood spilled from her mouth as she slid down the cold rock.

Outside, the storm continued to rage.

And somewhere far away, something else began.

Lagos

Hundreds of miles away, in the crowded streets of Lagos, chaos had already begun.

Car horns blared endlessly.

People ran through the streets, screaming and pointing toward the sky.

Above them, dark clouds twisted like living things.

A young taxi driver named Musa slammed his brakes as lightning struck the road only a few meters ahead.

"Jesus Christ!" he shouted, forgetting that he was a Muslim.

Passengers inside the car screamed.

A woman clutched her child tightly as another flash illuminated the sky.

Then something strange happened.

The rain stopped, Completely, the sudden silence felt wrong.People slowly stepped out of their cars, staring upward...then the clouds began to move. Not drifting, Not blowing, But twisting. Like a massive whirlpool forming in the sky.

"What the hell…" Musa whispered.

Suddenly...

A massive creature burst through the cloud layer.

It looked like a locust.

But its legs were long and scorpion-like,having a long tail curling up in the air, its body was larger than a car.

More followed, dozens...Then hundreds.

The creatures shrieked as they descended toward the city.

Panic exploded across the streets.

People ran in every direction.

Cars crashed.

Glass shattered.

A man screamed as one of the monstrous insects snatched him from the ground and vanished into the storm.

Musa grabbed the terrified child from the back seat.

"Run!" he shouted to the mother.

"Where?!" she cried.

But he didn't answer.

Because the truth was—

There was nowhere left to run.

A Church in Italy

Inside an ancient stone church in Rome, candles flickered as frightened people gathered together.

The old priest gripped the edge of the altar, staring at the violent storm raging outside the stained-glass windows.

"This cannot be coincidence," a woman whispered.

Thunder rattled the entire building.

A young boy clutched his mother's hand.

"Father… is this the end of the world?"

The priest did not answer immediately.

Instead, he looked up at the large cross above the altar.

Then he spoke quietly.

"I do not know."

Another violent flash of lightning illuminated the church.

For a moment, the stained glass windows glowed like fire.

Then something smashed against the roof.

The entire building shook.

Screams filled the sanctuary.

Outside, one of the monstrous creatures clawed across the stone roof, its massive legs scraping loudly as it searched for a way inside.

The priest slowly closed his eyes.

"God help us," he whispered.

A Remote Village

Far away in a small village hidden within dense forest, an old woman stood quietly beneath the dark sky.

Everyone else had run indoors, but she remained outside.

Watching...waiting

Her white hair danced wildly in the violent wind.

Lightning illuminated her wrinkled face again and again.

Behind her, a young pregnant woman cried in pain inside a small wooden house.

"She's in labor!" someone shouted from inside.

The old woman did not move.

She simply looked toward the horizon where the storm was thickest.

Then she spoke softly.

"It has begun."

Thunder roared.

Inside the house, the woman screamed again.

"They should survive… they should survive… wouldn't they?" a frightened young man asked.

No one answered him.

Inside the small house, the pregnant woman lay on a rough wooden bed, drenched in sweat and agony.

Two midwives worked frantically.

"Push!" one of them shouted.

Outside, the old woman finally turned toward the house.

"The world burns," she whispered.

"Yet life still arrives."

The Birth

Another scream tore through the house.

The storm outside grew louder, as if the sky itself was screaming with the woman.

"Push!" the midwife shouted again.

The young woman cried out with everything she had left.

Lightning flashed through the window.

Then...

A baby's cry filled the room.

"He's alive!" the midwife gasped.

The tiny infant screamed loudly, his voice cutting through the thunder.

But the woman wasn't done.

"Another one!" the second midwife shouted in shock.

The woman's eyes widened weakly.

"Twins…" she whispered.

Outside, the old woman looked toward the sky.

The clouds twisted violently.

The earth trembled.

Inside the house, the second child was born moments later.

Another cry.

Another fragile life.

But something was wrong.

The mother's breathing had become shallow.

The midwife pressed her hand against the woman's chest.

Her face fell.

"No…" she whispered.

The young man beside the bed grabbed the woman's hand.

"Stay with me… please stay with me…"

The woman looked weakly at the two babies now wrapped in cloth.

A faint smile touched her lips.

"They're… beautiful…"

Her hand slowly slipped from his.

And then—

She stopped breathing.

Outside, the storm roared louder than ever.

The old woman closed her eyes.
