The next fan event was being held at a large convention center.
Thousands of fans filled the hall, waving banners, cheering, and holding up lightsticks. The energy was electric.
Backstage, William and Est were seated side by side on a long couch. Their manager had given a quick reminder: "Remember—keep it professional."
Est sighed. "Professional. Got it."
William smirked. "You mean don't hold my hand?"
Est elbowed him lightly. "Exactly. Don't give them any reason to scream."
William laughed quietly. "You're no fun."
🎤 On Stage
The host walked onto the stage, microphone in hand.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Please welcome William and Est!"
The crowd erupted into cheers. Some held banners reading "WILLIAMEST FOREVER" and "JUST KISS ALREADY!"
As they walked on stage, the cheers grew even louder.
William leaned slightly toward Est. "You hear that?"
Est swallowed. "I hear it…"
The host grinned. "I see you two sitting so close. Fans have been talking about you nonstop online. Do you have anything to say?"
The audience started chanting: "KISS! KISS! KISS!"
Est froze. "Oh no."
William's eyes sparkled. "Looks like the fans are impatient."
Est groaned, hiding his face behind the microphone. "They're going to make me die of embarrassment."
The host turned to William. "So… who's going to make the first move?"
William glanced at Est, a teasing smirk tugging at his lips. "I think you know the answer."
Est's cheeks turned bright red. He opened his mouth to protest but stopped when William slowly leaned closer.
The audience's chants grew louder. "KISS! KISS! KISS!"
William paused just inches from Est's face. His voice was soft, only for him.
"I'll wait until you're ready."
Est's breath hitched. "I… I'm ready."
William smiled and leaned in gently. Their lips barely touched at first—a soft, tentative brush that felt like the world had stopped around them.
The audience screamed. Cameras flashed everywhere. Fans were on their feet.
But for William and Est… the cheering faded into nothing.
All that existed was the warmth of the other, the quiet electricity of finally being honest, finally being real.
They pulled back slightly, foreheads resting together.
"I… think we just broke the internet," William whispered.
Est laughed softly, resting his head against him. "Maybe we did."
William grinned. "Worth it."
Est smiled, squeezing his hand. "Completely worth it."
Outside the stage, fans continued screaming, posting videos, and sharing clips online. #WilliamEstReal exploded even further, but neither of them cared.
For a moment after the kiss…
The convention hall felt like it had completely lost control.
Fans were screaming so loudly that the microphones on stage started picking up the echo of it. Lightsticks waved wildly in the air, and phones were raised everywhere, recording every second.
The host stood frozen with her hand over her mouth.
"OH MY—"
She turned in a circle toward the audience.
"Did that just happen?!"
The crowd screamed even louder.
William and Est were still standing close together, foreheads touching from where they had pulled apart.
Est was laughing softly now, his face still flushed red.
"William…"
William's shoulders shook slightly with quiet laughter.
"Yes?"
"You just started a war on the internet."
William shrugged.
"Worth it."
The host rushed back toward them, clearly trying to regain control of the event.
"Okay! Okay! Everyone calm down!"
The crowd did the exact opposite.
Someone near the front screamed:
"DO IT AGAIN!"
Est covered his face with both hands.
"I can't believe this is my life."
William gently nudged his shoulder.
"You said you were ready."
"I meant emotionally ready," Est whispered.
The host leaned closer with her microphone.
"So… I'm just going to ask the question everyone here is thinking."
She pointed between them.
"Was that fan service… or was that real?"
The entire hall went silent.
Thousands of people leaned forward.
Even the staff at the side of the stage were watching carefully.
Est slowly lowered his hands from his face.
William glanced at him.
Not teasing this time.
Waiting.
Est looked out at the crowd.
Then back at William.
His voice was quieter now.
"…It wasn't acting."
The audience exploded again.
William smiled, looking slightly relieved.
The host gasped dramatically.
"WAIT—are you saying—"
William took the microphone gently.
"I think what Est means…"
He paused, glancing at him again.
"…is that we care about each other."
The crowd started chanting again.
"WILLIAMEST! WILLIAMEST! WILLIAMEST!"
Est shook his head, laughing.
"You guys are impossible."
A fan near the front shouted:
"HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN LOVE?!"
Est choked.
William nearly dropped the microphone laughing.
"That's a strong question," William said.
The host jumped in excitedly.
"Yes, please answer that."
Est looked horrified.
"We are not answering that!"
William tilted his head thoughtfully.
"Well…"
Est grabbed his arm.
"Do not."
William grinned mischievously.
"…Let's just say our chemistry test results were very high."
The audience screamed again.
Est pushed his shoulder.
"You're unbelievable!"
The host laughed.
"Okay, okay! Let's move to something safer before Est actually passes out."
Est nodded immediately.
"Yes please."
The host looked at her cue cards.
"Alright. Since we clearly have the most iconic moment of the convention already… let's ask something about the show."
William leaned casually against the table.
"Good idea."
She asked,
"What is one thing you admire most about your co-star?"
The crowd quieted again, listening closely.
William answered first.
He didn't even hesitate.
"Est works harder than anyone I know."
Est blinked in surprise.
William continued,
"He cares a lot about doing things right. About the fans. About the story."
His voice softened slightly.
"And about the people around him."
Est looked down for a moment, clearly touched.
The audience made soft "awww" sounds.
The host turned to Est.
"And what about you?"
Est looked at William.
A small smile appeared.
"William pretends to be relaxed all the time…"
The audience laughed.
"…but he actually notices everything."
William raised an eyebrow.
"That's dangerous information."
Est shrugged.
"He notices when someone is tired. When someone is nervous. When someone needs help."
He nudged William's shoulder lightly.
"He's also ridiculously brave."
William blinked.
"Brave?"
Est smiled.
"You just kissed someone in front of ten thousand people."
The crowd erupted into cheers again.
William chuckled.
"Fair point."
The host clapped her hands excitedly.
"Well! I think we can officially say this fan meeting will be remembered forever."
The audience roared in agreement.
But the event wasn't even halfway finished yet.
And the fan Q&A segment… Was about to begin.
Which meant fans themselves were about to ask questions directly.
Very dangerous questions.
Est leaned closer to William and whispered nervously,
"We're not surviving this."
William squeezed his hand briefly behind the table.
"We'll survive."
He smiled.
"Maybe."
