Kaido stared blankly at the ceiling, his sixteenth birthday just hours away. Another year, another chance to be a nobody. He spent years getting trampled on, ignored by girls, and bullied by 'friends' . His life was a mess and he knew he'd hit rock bottom soon.
As midnight approaches, kaido got up to look for food in the refrigerator but could find nothing. "Damn!" He cursed under his breath. "Another life of poverty" he said. Suddenly, his body began tingling like crazy, it only became worst as midnight approaches, vision blurring, body pounding, kaido felt like dying. "What the hell is going on!" He shouted unsure of what is happening. As midnight stroke precisely, he heard a voice akin to an AI "SYSTEM initialization,shall we proceed?" Kaido eyes widen unsure of what to do but then "proceed" he said and the AI responded "very well kaido". Kaido heart skipped a bit from the notification as the surrounding area around him lit up in blue light as he saw different stats;

Kaido could only stare mouth wide open as he feels himself getting transformed from a nobody to a somebody, "Is t-this a dream?"."Nope this real alright" A doll-like fairy (male) not more than 4cm in length said so as he pops out of thin air making kaido stared in shock. "Who are you" kaido inquired cautiously as the 'fairy' responded "I'm your farmiliar, all awakened have a specific farmiliar ranging from the small one's like me to larger ones like a Cerberus or even an azure dragon" as kaido frowns rather dramatically "And why does my farmiliar have to be an impotent doll 'fairy' not even half half the size of my palm". "Hey!" The 'fairy' pouted, "Although I'm small but I'm not impotent, I've learned several magic spells and abilities than you can even hope to learn I'm 60 lifetimes" . "Yeah right" kaido responded rather skeptically making the fairy grin "Skeptical are we, I'll show you just how powerful I can be. Special attack, smoke grenade" as he threw a kind of fairy dust that caused smoke the engulf the entire room causing kaido to berate him "Hey!, I don't want you causing a fire anytime soon just because I allowed to stay *coughs* plus I'm so hungry right now". The fairy asked with eyebrows twitching in slight anger and fear "W-what did you just say *fearfully* I'm not edible I'm not edible I'm not edible please don't eat me". Kaido responded "relax I'm not eating you besides if I wanted to I would have already done it". The fairy sighs in relief as kaido says "Hey are you gonna tell me your name or what, mine is kaido yamada but I suggest you already know that". The fairy responded "Mine is Elvis, looking forward to our partnership" Skicks out his hand to kaido as kaido shakes it with his fingers. "Me as well".
