Chapter 49 - The Ancient Power

The training ground echoed with the sound of cracking stone.

Ariana stared at the broken rock in front of her.

"I didn't expect it to be that strong," she said quietly.

Kayden laughed.

"Well, Moon Princess, you're basically a walking superpower now."

Jayden, however, remained serious.

"Again."

Ariana sighed but focused once more.

She closed her eyes and breathed slowly.

The silver glow appeared around her hands again.

But this time something felt different.

Stronger.

The air around the clearing began to vibrate.

Leaves lifted slightly from the ground.

Kayden's smile faded.

"Uh… Jayden?"

Jayden had already noticed.

"Ariana, stop."

But it was too late.

The silver light suddenly exploded outward.

A massive wave of moon energy spread across the clearing.

Several warriors were forced to step back.

The ground cracked slightly beneath Ariana's feet.

Her eyes opened.

They were glowing completely silver.

For a moment, Ariana looked… different.

Almost ancient.

An elder watching from the edge of the clearing whispered in shock.

"That's not just Moon power…"

"That's ancient lunar energy."

Jayden stepped closer cautiously.

"Ariana, listen to my voice."

Slowly, the silver glow began fading.

Ariana blinked and looked around in confusion.

"What just happened?"

Kayden whistled softly.

"Well… you almost blew up the entire training ground."

Jayden exhaled slowly.

"This power is evolving faster than we expected."

Before Ariana could respond—

One of the pack scouts ran into the clearing.

"Alpha!"

Jayden turned immediately.

"What is it?"

The scout looked worried.

"Our patrol wolves just returned from the northern forest."

"And?"

The scout hesitated.

"Darius's army… is already moving."

The clearing fell silent.

Kayden frowned.

"How close?"

"Less than a day away."

Ariana felt a chill run down her spine.

Jayden's expression hardened.

"Then the war begins sooner than we thought."

Because the Blood Moon was still days away…

But the Dark Alpha's army was already coming.
