A faint smile resting on my lips as I faced her.
She remained where she was, still holding her throat, her breathing gradually steadying but not fully recovered.
Witches has the most useless power ever. They are nothing without their spell. It pained her more than the grip itself, knowing she had not been able to channel anything to free herself.
"What do you want?" she asked at last, her voice rough but steadier now.
I scoffed, leaning back slightly against the throne. "You know what I want," I said, my gaze fixed on her. "Save my girl… and I will have no reason to come after Ivy."
I let my words linger. Then my tone dropped just enough to carry the weight of it. "Or your witch realm."
She stilled at the mention of the witch realm.
The fear she had been trying to hide, became clear. Because, she knew if she messed this up, and I went for the witch realm... They would kill ivy before I did to punish her.
I tilted my head slightly, watching her every bit of her reaction.
