Lexianna shook her head and held up her hand to stop them. "Absolutely not," she said firmly. "I am not doing this right now. I just killed an assassin in a dirty hallway. I am tired, I am covered in blood, and I just want to wash my face and go to sleep."
She tried to sound strict, but her voice wobbled just a little bit.
The problem was the air in the corridor. It was thick and heavy. Arkin and Koa were looking at her with glowing eyes, completely mesmerized by what she had just done. Their primal arousal was pouring off them in waves. The space smelled like burning cedar and sharp winter mint, mixed with the deep, heavy scent of their desire.
Lexianna's body reacted before her brain could stop it.
The sudden, intense wave of their male energy crashed right into her delicate system. Her knees suddenly felt weak. A sharp, pulling ache bloomed low in her stomach. A heavy, sweet scent of pineapple instantly filled the air around her.
