Lexianna screamed again. Her voice was loud and broken, echoing off the high stone walls of the giant bedroom.
She held onto the sides of the mattress so hard her knuckles turned completely white. Her nine fluffy, silver Fox tails were out, whipping and thrashing wildly all over the messy blankets. They knocked over a silver cup of water on the nightstand, sending it crashing to the floor, but nobody cared. She was pushing with all of her might. Her whole body was shaking.
"Ahhhh!" Lexianna cried out, throwing her head back onto the sweaty pillows.
But the sharp, squeezing pain in her tummy wasn't the only thing hurting her.
Deep inside her chest, where the invisible magic string tied her soul to her two mates, she felt something terrible. The special magic bond was buzzing and vibrating wildly. It felt like holding a buzzing bee in your hand, only the bee was made of pure agony.
