Jafar looked at the chieftain of the Aslan Tribe with a solemn look on his face.
"If you can save him, I promise to serve you faithfully until the day I die," Jafar vowed. "I swear this to the Earth Mother."
Ulric, Yuni, Kael, and Maximus stood behind Leone as his bodyguards. Although the Darkmane Tribe and the Aslan Tribe had fought side by side against the monster army, there was simply no way they would allow Leone to have a one-on-one talk with Jafar.
Sure, Hassan was guarding the young man from his shadow. Still, they simply couldn't feel at ease. They must be present to ensure that no one could threaten their Great Chieftain.
"Even if I save him, he might no longer be the same man again," Leone replied calmly. "In fact, he might turn into a monster after this. Are you sure you'll still serve me even if that happens?"
