Chapter 3 - The monster

Laith froze in place, staring at the brutal event he was witnessing.

There was a person sitting with the grandmother's body in front of him; his fangs were more visible than a normal person's, and his eyes were red.

He was wearing a white apron similar to the one his mother wore to work.

The person was so greedily devouring the grandmother's body that he didn't notice anyone else in the room.

Laith's body was trembling violently and cold sweat was pouring from his body.

He tried to get up, but he could not find the strength in his hands because of his extreme fear.

He began trying to calm himself by breathing slowly and looking away from the monster he had not yet noticed.

He looked at the ground but noticed two syringes in front of him.

One of them contained a cold green liquid

The second one has a cold blue liquid color.

'What is the purpose of these two injections?'

Laith grasped the two syringes in his left hand and began to crawl slowly towards the door.

When he reached the middle of the road, he heard a cracking sound. He looked at the ground and saw that the floor was cracking.

He turned slowly to see that the person was looking at him.

His mouth was open and blood was dripping from it; his teeth were full of blood, and his eyes were red, but strangely, blood was flowing from his hands and fingers as if it were coming out of him.

'Is blood coming out of his body?'

The person screamed a terrifying scream, like an animal that had seen its prey fleeing.

"Aaaaaah!"

Laith's eyes widened; his instincts told him he had to escape or he would die.

The person advanced with lightning speed and appeared before Laith, pointing his hand at his neck like a knife.

Laith noticed that this person's fingernails were unusually long.

Laith closed his eyes, unable to do anything, but at that moment he felt as if he were falling.

He opened his eyes to see that he was falling downwards

He raised his head to see that the person was falling with him, his gaze filled with a thirst for blood.

Laith fell quickly and hit the ground, but then he began to slide to the edge of the apartment.

He grabbed his head.

"Ow, that hurts."

He began to look around to see that he was in his house, but things were scattered everywhere, such as dishes, books, and toys.

Then he noticed that the ground was sloping, and then everything around him began to shake as if an earthquake were happening.

Laith looked up at the person standing there, who was looking back at him. He stood erect, unaffected by the tilting of the house or the earthquake that was occurring.

He opened his mouth, revealing his long fangs, and lunged towards Laith.

Laith looked around for anything he could use, then a jaw came to him.

Laith held a book in his right hand, and before the person's fangs reached his neck, he shoved the book into his mouth.

The person bit into the book; at that moment, Leith took one of the two syringes and injected its contents into the madman's body.

The injections contained a cold blue substance.

At that moment, the person began to grab his head and scream like a madman.

Blood began to flow from his eyes, then from his ears, then from his entire body.

Laith's eyes widened and he began to tremble with fear.

His screams alone would have frightened anyone, but what was happening in front of him was something truly terrifying.

After a few moments the screaming stopped, but the ground was still shaking and began to crack.

Laith noticed that the person's gaze had become cold and lifeless.

Then the person's body fell to the ground

But a pool of blood formed from his blood.

Laith breathed a sigh of relief after it was over.

'It's finally over.'

But seconds later something unexpected happened
