"Hey Gabby."
"Hmm?"
Gabriella looked up at Quash.
"Do you wanna go dungeon exploring with me tomorrow?"
She thought for a moment and within that moment, Quash couldn't feel her emotions. They were too messy or conflicting; he couldn't understand. But he waited for her to answer.
"No. You should go with the other girls."
"What do you—?"
At Gabriella's answer, Quash felt flabbergasted but cut his question off. She smiled and patted his head.
"Good boy. I see why the Headmaster said that your composure will take you far."
Quash didn't say anything and let her be. He understood what she was feeling now, and he was not willing to play her games. He had already blocked her from feeling his emotions, which made her pout cutely. She bit his neck again, drinking his blood. She made cute but happy noises, and because of that, he couldn't even get angry at her because he was actually feeling a bit dizzy.
