Prologue: The Maestra Composers

Decades had passed since the term was once popularized.

The creator of this brilliant mechanical machine was an ordinary town professor, Dr. Emeritus Arlan Vandimion. He was married to a girl named Mary, who was a famous musician and a renowned performer across the globe.

However, Mary was born with an incurable sickness from birth. She was a patient of glaucoma — a disease known as "the silent thief of sight", causing loss of visibility starting from peripheral vision.

Saddened by her wife's disability, he didn't wait to grieve her loss. Instead, Dr. Arlan picked up his old typewriter from the dusty shelf, determined to change it into the world's first music typewriter.

For months, Arlan worked tirelessly to perfect his invention. He picked up basic musical instructions to understand how each note sounded and how even the slightest errors could contradict the intended melody.

Thus, the first prototype of Maestra Composer was born. It was modified to convert the alphabetical keys of the traditional typewriter into musical notes, complete with Braille on each key. The type hammers were also individually replaced to print out musical notes on the paper.

As the years passed, the music typewriter received more and more recognition by the music industry. Although Dr. Arlan himself only intended to make the machine specially for his spouse, the constant demand from musicians and artists overwhelmed the married couple. Ultimately, he decided to publicise the blueprint of the Maestra Composer units.

When the units reached the market, they sold like hotcakes within a few working days. Music composers from all over the continent rushed to get their own unit of the typewriter.

Never in his life did he ever imagine creating such a wonderful, miraculous innovation that changed the history of an entire industry.

Today, his name is known as the Father of Modern Music. The musically illiterate man ended up being one of the key figures and a prominent innovator in the field of music, all because of his deep love for the one he wished to cherish in this journey of romance.
