The air outside Arjun's house had turned strangely cold.
Dark clouds gathered above Devgarh, even though the sun had been shining only minutes ago. The wind howled through the empty streets, carrying a strange whispering sound.
Arjun stood near the broken window, staring at the creatures outside.
Three enormous shadow figures stood in the middle of the road.
Their bodies were made of swirling darkness, like living smoke. Deep cracks of glowing red energy ran across their forms, as if fire burned beneath their skin.
Their eyes glowed like two burning coals in the night.
Ravi slowly stepped back.
"Arjun… please tell me those are not real."
Arjun swallowed.
"I wish I could."
One of the creatures lifted its head and sniffed the air.
Then it spoke with a deep monstrous voice that echoed through the street.
"Celestial energy confirmed."
The second creature turned toward Arjun's house.
"Target located."
The third raised its clawed hand.
"Destroy the Guardian."
And suddenly—
They began moving.
The First Real Fear
Arjun's heart pounded.
"Grandma… what are those things?"
His grandmother's face had turned pale.
"They are Shadow Demons… servants of Rakshor."
Ravi whispered, "Yeah… I don't like the sound of that name."
One of the demons suddenly leapt forward.
CRASH!
The creature landed directly in front of the house gate, breaking it apart like paper.
The ground shook under its weight.
Arjun stepped forward instinctively.
His fists began glowing with faint blue light.
"I guess this is my problem now."
Ravi grabbed his arm.
"Are you insane? That thing is eight feet tall!"
Arjun looked at him seriously.
"And if I run away… who will stop them?"
Ravi opened his mouth to argue.
But then he saw the second demon climbing over a nearby car and smashing it aside effortlessly.
The metal twisted like a toy.
Ravi gulped.
"Okay… you might have a point."
The Battle Begins
The first demon stepped closer to the house.
Its claws scraped across the ground, leaving deep marks in the road.
Arjun walked outside slowly.
The wind whipped around him.
Blue sparks of energy flickered around his hands.
The demon tilted its head.
"The Guardian is weak."
Arjun forced a confident smile.
"Good news for you then."
Then he raised his fist.
"Because I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing."
The demon roared and charged forward.
Its massive claw swung toward Arjun's head.
Arjun instinctively raised his hand.
And suddenly—
A burst of bright blue energy exploded outward.
BOOM!
The shockwave blasted the demon backward across the street.
It crashed into a wall, shattering bricks everywhere.
Arjun stared at his glowing hand.
"Okay… that actually worked."
Behind him, Ravi shouted, "DO IT AGAIN!"
But the other two demons were already attacking.
One jumped high into the air.
The other ran directly toward Arjun like a charging bull.
Arjun panicked.
"Uh… how do I do that again?"
Power Without Control
The charging demon slammed into him before he could react.
BAM!
Arjun flew across the street and crashed into a parked motorcycle.
The bike shattered under the impact.
Pain shot through his back.
"Okay… that hurt."
The demon stepped closer, towering above him.
It raised its massive claw to finish the attack.
Arjun tried to focus.
He remembered the strange energy inside him.
The same energy he felt when the chair floated.
Focus…
The demon's claw came down.
At the last second—
Arjun's body exploded with blue light.
The claw stopped in mid-air.
Frozen.
The demon growled in confusion.
Arjun realized he was holding the creature back with pure energy.
His eyes widened.
"Wait… I'm doing that?"
Ravi yelled from the house.
"YES! NOW HIT IT!"
Arjun pushed his hand forward.
A blast of celestial energy fired from his palm.
BOOOOM!
The demon flew backward, smashing into the other creature behind it.
Both monsters crashed through a nearby shop wall.
Dust filled the air.
Arjun slowly stood up.
His heart raced.
But for the first time—
He felt something different.
Confidence.
Maybe he could actually fight.
The Third Demon
But the battle wasn't over.
The third demon suddenly dropped from the sky.
It had climbed onto a rooftop while Arjun fought the others.
Now it landed directly behind him.
CRASH!
Arjun turned too late.
The demon grabbed him by the throat and lifted him into the air.
Its red eyes burned with hatred.
"Guardian must die."
Arjun struggled to breathe.
His energy flickered weakly.
Ravi ran forward holding a metal pipe.
"HEY UGLY!"
He swung the pipe at the demon's arm.
CLANG!
The pipe bent instantly.
The demon didn't even react.
Ravi slowly stepped back.
"Okay… bad idea."
The demon raised its other claw.
It was about to tear Arjun apart.
But suddenly—
The amulet around Arjun's neck began glowing intensely.
The light spread across his body.
A powerful voice echoed inside his mind.
"You must embrace the celestial fire."
Arjun's eyes flashed bright blue.
Energy surged through him like a storm.
"LET ME GO!"
A massive shockwave erupted from his body.
BOOOOOOM!
The demon was blasted across the street.
Arjun landed on the ground.
But now something was different.
Blue energy flowed around him like living flames.
The air vibrated with power.
Ravi stared in shock.
"Dude… you look like a human lightning storm."
The First True Power
The demons slowly stood again.
Even after the powerful attacks, they were still alive.
But now they seemed cautious.
The first demon growled.
"Guardian power increasing."
Arjun clenched his fists.
The energy around him intensified.
"Yeah," he said calmly.
"I'm starting to notice."
The demons charged together.
This time Arjun didn't panic.
He raised both hands.
The celestial energy gathered between his palms.
Then he pushed forward.
A massive beam of blue light shot across the street.
BOOOOOOOOM!
The energy blast slammed into all three demons at once.
The ground cracked under the impact.
The monsters screamed as the celestial power burned their shadow bodies.
Within seconds—
Their forms began breaking apart.
Dark smoke scattered into the wind.
And finally—
They disappeared completely.
The street became silent again.
After the Battle
Arjun's glowing energy slowly faded.
He dropped to one knee, exhausted.
Ravi ran toward him.
"ARE YOU OKAY?"
Arjun nodded weakly.
"I think so."
Ravi looked around at the destroyed street.
Broken cars.
Cracked buildings.
A massive hole in the road.
"Well… Devgarh is definitely going to have questions."
Arjun sighed.
"I was hoping you wouldn't mention that."
His grandmother walked toward them slowly.
Her eyes were filled with both pride and concern.
"You have taken your first step as the Celestial Guardian."
Arjun looked at his hands.
"They almost killed me."
"Yes," she said quietly.
"And stronger enemies will come."
Arjun looked toward the distant mountains.
"So the training you mentioned…"
She nodded.
"It must begin immediately."
Ravi raised his hand.
"Quick question."
Both of them looked at him.
"Am I allowed to come too?"
Arjun smiled.
"I think I'll need all the help I can get."
But far away in the dark fortress…
Rakshor watched the battle through a pool of shadow magic.
The Shadow Demons had failed.
But he did not look angry.
Instead—
He smiled.
"Interesting."
He leaned forward on his throne.
"The boy has potential."
The darkness around him twisted violently.
"But potential alone will not save him."
He turned toward his generals.
"Prepare the Night Beasts."
The monsters bowed.
Rakshor's voice echoed like thunder.
"The next attack will not be so easy to survive."
And somewhere deep in the Himalayas…
An old warrior opened his eyes.
He had felt the celestial energy from miles away.
A small smile appeared on his face.
"The Guardian has finally awakened."
He slowly stood.
"Now the real training begins."
