In the alley, he found Leila, a girl his age, trapped by a strange shadow a black being formed from mist and electricity, its eyes red as embers, moving unnaturally.
"Stay away!" Leila screamed, but Adel reached her quickly, raising his hand in a strange gesture no one could understand. A beam of blue light shot from his palm, hitting the creature directly.
The creature staggered, moving erratically as if trying to disappear, but the light around Adel and Leila stopped it.
"What is this?" Leila said in astonishment, her eyes widening.
"I don't know… but I feel like I have to stop it." Adel replied, trying to control the energy emanating from him.

"Thank you… I don't know what you did, but you saved me." Leila said in a trembling voice.
