"You idiot, you destroyed all the trap magic I set up," the masked man snapped.
"It's not like I had another way to break it."
"I stayed up all night setting those spells, you bastard."
"Then communicate properly. We're teammates now."
Teammates...
Zora froze slightly.
Memories surfaced.
"Zora, I'm back."
A man wearing a Purple Orcas cloak entered.
"Everything is ready, Father."
"Good. You'll become a Magic Knight one day and protect the people."
"I understand."
"Remember, Magic Knights don't fight alone. Trust your comrades."
Zora looked at Asta.
"I understand. Then I'll accept your power."
He led Asta and Mimosa aside.
"Large-scale trap magic takes time to prepare. Right now, I can use three types."
He raised three fingers.
"First, Binding. Anyone who touches it gets restrained.
Second, Pitfall. It creates a trap beneath the enemy.
Third, Landmine. It triggers offensive magic."
He lowered his hand.
"If I don't spend time charging them, the power is limited. So what do we do next?"
Zora stared at Asta.
