Chapter 10 review : "Charlie, stop playing romeo and fight by your own before you kill yourself", Jimmy said voice cold because he knew if not for his interruption with shadow slash Charlie might have died for Jessica.
Chapter 11 :
Silence and smoke filled the entire chamber, Jimmy was on one knee coughing from the smoke physically exhausted but his calm face doesn't show a hint of exhaustion.
The Everyone held their breath subconsciously waiting to see if the sub boss is really defeated.
Then the broken boulder moved and the sub boss threw it away and it roared, but it was not in a good shape it's left eye which Jimmy had slashed earlier was completely ruined, it's arms are damaged it's skull fractured and blood is flowing out and his right knee was fractured badly
"How is it still standing?", Jimmy whispered under his breath and he stood up with great difficulty and went into a stance but his body failed him, his hands were shaking his legs were shaking with exhaustion.
Jessica said to Charlie "Why did you protect me earlier," I can see you die", Charlie replied.
Jimmy rolled his eyes in frustration of the entire fight then he whispered "Shadow step watered down version", his body was slowly vanishing into the shadows of the sub boss chamber.
The sub boss was just recovering from the boulder and it stood up and it raised its metal axe ready to strike.
"Watch out!", Jessica said as both her and Charlie rolled out of the way of the metal axe.
The metal axe was deep in the ground it separated Charlie and Jessica.
Charlie who was still holding his side raised his sword and charged towards the sub boss and imbued his sword with all of the fire energy that he has and brought his sword downward
"Shhhhkk!, Charlie's blazing sword cut the sub boss's right ear clean off.
" Shrriieeeeekk!!, the sub boss screamed in pain and held was remained of it's ear and it felt a burning sensation around his ear and it rithed in pain and fortunately it's berserk mode I'd flickering between berserk to normal but it was enraged.
The sub boss raised its hand in furry and swatted Charlie to the side.
"Crashhh!!, Charlie crashed into the chamber wall and then he coughed a noticeable amount of blood and 3 ribs broke due to the impact of the crash.
The sub boss breathed heavily and walked toward Jessica with calm dominance because there was no obstacle now except for Jessica.
Behind the sub boss's ear an image which was once shadow began to take form, it was Jimmy and when his form was fully completed he raised his sword and slashed the sub boss neck, sparks fly everywhere.
"Shkk!, Jimmy managed to slash the sub boss neck but it wasn't large because he doesn't have enough shadow energy to imbue into his sword and Jimmy immediately imbue his legs with the little shadow energy he has left and he barely dodge a pal strike from the sub boss and he felt the wind barely pass above his face.
Jimmy finally landed in front of Charlie who was still recovering and he said buy time for me I need to gather shadow energy.
"Huhh", Charlie replied, Jimmy was greatly annoyed with Charlie.
"Slap!, Jimmy slapped Charlie and grabbed his collar hard and shouted" I said by time don't play romeo and focus on the battle!! "
Charlie stood up and he said" If we die because of you I won't forgive you", "Neither will I", Jimmy replied calmly.
Charlie raised his sword and engaged in harsh combat with the sub boss, and Jimmy was at the side lines, trying to gather shadow energy.
Jimmy raised his index and middle finger aiming at the sub boss with shaking hands, he was exhausted but he needs to fight so that he can survive, Charlie raised his sword and stabbed the sub boss chest.
"Shriieek!, the sub boss screamed St the top of its lungs and swings his arm ready to swat Charlie away, Then a voice echoes" Raging tornado slash", Jessica raised her sword wind energy radiating off her sword and she swung it a massive wind tornado ragged out and attacked the sub boss.
"Booomm!, the wind tornado exploded and both Charlie and Jessica were flung back from the shock wave radius.
" Any time now ", Charlie said towards Jimmy," Not yet, just hold on a little bit longer", Jimmy replied still gathering shadow energy.
The smoke cleared and the sub boss emerged with several cuts on his chest and a big slash on his forehead and it was enraged and desperate at the same time, then it swung it's metal axe toward Charlie and Jessica ready to end the fight.
"Shadow slash", Jimmy said voice eerily calm and a large singular slash made of shadow energy went at the direction of the sub boss it was a little but slow but still fast enough.
The sub boss didn't even realise that it had died it was cut in half from the waist green blood spurted out in every direction at it fell down with a large thud!.
"Finally, took you long enough", Charlie said more in relief than scolding.
Jimmy didn't say anything and then he received a system notification.
[Host has leveled up by 2 levels all basic stats increased by 6 points].
A warm feeling swept over Jimmy's body has he felt his body had gotten stronger and it was a cheat each time he leveled up all his stamina and mana will be recovered instantly.
Jimmy flexed his fingers and smirked at the corner of his lips.
"Please be the end of this dungeon", Charlie said gasping for breath.
"Look back", Jimmy said in an unusually calm tone.
Charlie turned his head and saw a massive gate even bigger than the sub boss Chambers, "Are you kidding me?!, there is a final boss?", Charlie said shocked.
Jimmy went towards the door and he stopped in his tracks the mana was so thick it can suffocate someone, he pushed the door with his hands and it revealed an absolute giant goblin 2 times bigger and stronger than the sub boss.
Charlie and Jessica also froze, the boss was holding only a large metal axe on his right arm and light armour on its body red eyes that looks like it is looking directly into their very soul.
It looked directly at Jimmy with its glowing red eyes and it swung it's metal axe straight at Jimmy.
"Booom!, The metal axe was deep in the ground and Jimmy had used shadow step to dodge the attack but he still miscalculated the timing and there was a wound from his right shoulder to his left torse easily cutting his college uniform.
" This boss is just too strong", Jimmy whispered under his breath.
The boss inhaled and shoot out a tornado of fire towards the direction of Jimmy.
" Booooomm!, an explosion of fire and dust made the entire chamber shake violently, when the smoke cleared Jimmy was still standing but with several burns on his body.
