It is the architect's studio of the universe, where the air smells of ozone and the "First Morning." It is the only place where the laws of the Underworld do not apply, serving as the bridge between the Beginning and the End.
Existence (The Birthright): Unlike a "Soul" or a "Spirit," which are often viewed as gifts or property of the gods, Existence is a primal authority. For a Mediator, it is not something given, but something owned. It allows the wielder to decide what is real and what is not, effectively giving them the power to "delete" elements of the script that attempt to bind them.
The Mediator's Thrum: The physical sensation of gold veins pulsing under the skin. It is the "Engine" of Zany's power. It activates when his will is challenged by the existing laws of the Underworld, vibrating with the resonance of a power that predates the creation of the Shallows.
The Blink: The first manifested skill of a Sovereign. It is not a movement of the body, but a movement of the mind. By "blinking," the user temporarily denies the existence of a threat (like the Collector's chains), causing the object to vanish from the current timeline as if it were never forged.

Genesis (The Beginning):
Role: The Architect of the Script.
Profile: A silhouette of absolute radiance. Genesis is the personification of the "Start." He does not view Zany as a subject to be judged, but as a "System Error" that possesses a unique form of independence. He acts as a guide, revealing to Zany that he is the "Scale" by which the world is measured, rather than a soul to be weighed.
Chronos (The Clockmaker):
Role: The Auditor of Time and the Guardian of the Timeline.
Profile: A presence of jagged black rifts and the sound of a billion ticking clocks. Chronos represents the "Forward Motion" of the universe. He is the primary antagonist to anyone who tries to rewrite the script. To Chronos, Zany is a "stain" that must be erased to maintain the perfection of the cosmic gears.
The Collector (The Broken Janitor):
Status: Compromised.
Note: After his "Final Debt" chains were erased by a mere blink, the Collector has been demoted from a figure of terror to a terrified guide. He is the first entity to realize that the hierarchy of the Underworld is about to be challenged by a "petrol-thief" from the hills.

The Obsidian Gates: The true entrance to the "Basement" of reality. These gates are made of light-absorbing volcanic glass and serve as the point of no return. Beyond these gates lies the processing center where souls like Leo are "weighed" by the Law. For Zany, these gates are no longer a barrier, but a destination for a management complaint.
