That was reckless.
Tony felt that the word 'reckless' rarely appeared in his life's dictionary.
He had always believed in the philosophy of 'I think, therefore I am; I do, therefore I am awesome'.
But now, looking at the golden-haired giant on the screen, who exuded an aura of'stay away or I'll smash you', Tony felt a hint of regret for his impromptu decision.
Okay, maybe not just a hint.
It was a lot.
He shouldn't have listened to that bastard Leon's instigation and come to this godforsaken place to watch some live broadcast.
Now, the live broadcast was a bust, and it seemed he was about to become the star of the broadcast himself.
Tony's mind was going wild with complaints.
But on his face, he still maintained a calm and collected expression.
He was Tony Stark; even if his heart was already in a panic, wanting Jarvis to calculate an escape route, his face had to convey the composure of having everything under control.
"Happy."
He slowly took a sip of coffee and said to Happy, who was beside him, already gripping the joystick tightly with tension.
"What do you say, if I open the cabin door now and shout 'I'm your brother's friend' at him, will he believe it?"
Happy's face turned green.
"Boss, I think he's more likely to dismantle our plane first, then ask whose friend we are."
"Good point."
Tony nodded, deeply agreeing.
He looked again at Thor and the Mjolnir in his hand.
He felt that the private jet's pathetic stealth coating was probably no different from transparent glass in front of Thor.
This feeling of being seen through made him very uncomfortable... In the desert.
Thor gently shielded Jane behind him, and Mjolnir in his hand began to crackle with electricity.
He was in a very bad mood.
He had just reunited with his beloved, and the joy had barely lasted a few seconds before he discovered an unknown object spying nearby.
This made him feel his authority was being challenged.
Especially after experiencing the journey of being exiled, humiliated, and then reborn.
Thor had a new understanding of the word 'guardian'.
He was now like a lion cub who had just learned how to properly use his fangs.
Any act that dared to covet his territory would be met with his fierce retaliation!
"Thor, don't be impulsive!"
Jane felt the dangerous aura emanating from him and quickly grabbed his arm.
"Thor, they are friends who brought me here!"
Tony was the financier of their research team now.
She didn't want Thor and her boss's first meeting to start with a world war.
"Friends?"
Thor's brows furrowed even more.
Ahead, there was only a completely black object, emanating a murderous aura.
This didn't look like a friend's ride at all.
Asgard's friends either rode pegasi or drove chariots, all of them gleaming and majestic.
This dark iron lump in front of him looked more like the ride of a netherworld spirit.
Just as he was pondering, the aircraft's hatch slowly opened.
A man in an expensive suit, wearing sunglasses, and holding a cup of coffee, stepped out.
Behind him followed a helpless Happy, as well as Darcy and Professor Erik.
"Hey! Big guy!"
Tony stood at the hatch, looking down at Thor with a smile.
"Relax, don't be so tense. We're not suspicious characters, just enthusiastic sightseers."
He took off his sunglasses and gave Thor what he thought was a very handsome smile.
"And, by the way, moonlighting as your girlfriend's personal driver."
...Stark Tower, top-floor balcony.
Leon was watching a holographic projection.
When he saw Tony's flashy entrance, he couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Pfft..."
He swallowed a grape he had in his mouth and shook his head.
This Tony, he really knows how to make an entrance!
Couldn't he tell that Thor was currently in an excited state of 'I am Thor, I am awesome, I'll smash anyone who provokes me'?
Greeting him with such an attitude?
Leon could already foresee what would happen next.
He even felt a little anticipation.
One was Earth's tech genius, the other an Asgardian warrior.
These two equally conceited and proud individuals meeting for the first time.
What kind of sparks would they ignite?
Or rather, lightning and cannon fire?
Leon comfortably adjusted the angle of his lounge chair, considering whether he should intervene.
He even regretted that he should have asked Jarvis to prepare some popcorn earlier... In the desert.
Thor looked at Tony, only feeling that he was glib-tongued, and his brows furrowed even tighter.
Personal driver?
Sightseers?
What nonsense was this guy spouting?
He sensed an aura from this man that was somewhat similar to Leon's, yet completely different.
The same arrogance, the same disdain for others.
But Leon's arrogance was an inherent pride from his bloodline, a disregard for all living beings.
However, this mortal's arrogance was an acquired swagger.
This kind of swagger made Thor very uncomfortable.
Especially after he had just been thoroughly 'educated' by Leon.
He was now particularly sensitive to such self-important individuals.
"And who are you?"
Thor's voice was low.
He ignored Tony's teasing and instead scrutinized him from head to toe.
Tony was a bit annoyed by his gaze.
He hated it when people looked at him like that.
"Me?"
Tony exaggeratedly pointed to himself, a look of disbelief on his face.
"Woah, it seems Asgard's internet signal isn't great. Has my globally renowned handsome face not even been able to reach there yet?"
He adjusted his suit tie, cleared his throat, and struck what he considered his most handsome pose.
"Listen up, big guy. Standing before you is a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist..."
"Tony Stark."
He paused, then added, "You can also call me, Iron Man."
After speaking, he even deliberately puffed out his chest, seemingly expecting the other party to gasp in admiration.
However, Thor merely looked at him expressionlessly, his eyes bewildered.
"Iron Man?"
Thor repeated the phrase, then turned to Jane, confused.
"What is that? A new type of metal?"
..."Pfft! Cough, cough, cough!"
On the top-floor balcony, Leon choked on a mouthful of slush.
He coughed while shaking with laughter.
I can't, I can't.
This simpleton Thor is a born straight man for comedy!
He could imagine how uncomfortable Tony must be feeling right now.
His proud identity, in front of the other party, was actually mistaken for a type of metal?
This was too crushing.
Leon couldn't help but want to laugh.
He decided that when Thor returned, he would definitely reward him handsomely.
For example, by roasting his favorite goat... In the desert.
Tony's smile froze on his face.
He felt his heart seize up.
What the hell?
A new type of metal?
Was this guy fresh out of a medieval castle?
He didn't even know Iron Man?
Tony felt his dignity had been insulted.
He even felt that communicating with this golden-haired giant was more exhausting than meeting with those muscle-brained generals from the Military.
Damn it, who told you this was metal?!
