Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 – The Systems That Guard the World

At 10:30 AM, inside the luxurious villa, the twin siblings Long Jinmei and Long Jinhai had completely stopped paying attention to everything else.

Both of them were sitting on the edge of their large bed, lost in deep thought.

The words they had heard through the villa CCTV moments ago kept repeating in their minds.

Jinmei slowly spoke first.

"What does she mean by… our little girl saying 'you let them follow us'?"

Jinhai crossed his arms and thought carefully.

"That probably means those ten naughty boys allowed those people to follow them."

Jinmei nodded slowly.

But another sentence disturbed her even more.

"If anyone tries to touch any of you… I'll kill them instantly."

Jinmei looked toward her brother.

"But after she said that… our kids didn't say a single word."

Jinhai leaned back slightly, thinking about the expressions they had seen on the CCTV screens.

"What does she mean by that?" Jinmei continued quietly.

"How can she kill them instantly?"

Jinhai remembered the expressions of the ten young men very clearly.

"From our kids' reactions," he said slowly, "it looked like they completely believed she could do it."

He paused.

"They didn't even try to stop her."

Jinmei suddenly turned toward him.

"When did my girl learn something like that?"

Jinhai smiled faintly.

"But our little princess…"

He sighed softly.

"She would go to any extent to protect them."

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Then Jinmei suddenly grabbed her phone.

She called her secretary.

"Cancel all work for me and my brother today," she said firmly.

"You handle everything yourself."

"Don't contact us today."

Before the secretary could even respond,

Jinmei cut the call.

On the other side of the phone, the secretary stared at the silent screen in confusion.

She had never heard her boss sound so tense before.

Meanwhile, the twins had already stood up.

They walked directly toward a hidden door connected to their bedroom.

The door opened automatically.

Behind it was a massive control room.

More than two hundred giant screens covered the walls.

The twins walked inside.

Jinhai spoke casually.

"Baby."

They always called their central system AI by that name.

"Show our kids' current location and live visuals."

Immediately dozens of screens turned on.

Different camera feeds appeared everywhere.

Inside the vehicles, the eleven young people could be seen sitting separately in different cars.

Jinhai looked at the screens and frowned slightly.

"Why did they separate our kids into different vehicles?"

The system clock on the wall showed 10:35 AM.

More surveillance screens activated.

Several drones were flying hundreds of meters ahead of the convoy.

A helicopter hovered slowly in the sky near the moving vehicles.

Government security cars and bikes surrounded the convoy from every direction.

Traffic on the entire road had been completely blocked.

Elite security officers lined the route.

Jinmei stared at the screens.

"Why is there this much security?" she murmured.

"Did we miss something?"

Their family owned several companies that secretly produced military weapons and defense technology.

The irony was obvious.

Many of the systems currently being used by the government—drones, vehicle tracking networks, security scanners—were originally developed by companies secretly controlled by their own family.

The government believed those technologies came from many different corporations.

But in truth, all of them traced back to the same hidden family network.

And everything connected to those systems ultimately linked back to this room.

Which meant the twins could access and manipulate almost anything.

Vehicles.

Helicopters.

Drones.

Security networks.

Everything.

Suddenly the AI system spoke.

"Don't worry."

"I will protect my kids."

Both twins looked toward the central screen.

"I have already activated all protection systems."

Jinhai blinked.

"What did you activate?"

The AI answered calmly.

"All."

Jinmei narrowed her eyes.

"List them."

The AI repeated the same answer.

"All."

Jinhai frowned.

"You…"

The AI continued.

"All systems. From the lowest level to the highest level."

Jinmei folded her arms.

"You mean…?"

The AI finished calmly.

"Including nuclear weapon systems."

For a moment…

Both twins became completely speechless.

Jinhai stared at the screen.

"When did you activate them?"

"9:30 AM," the AI replied.

Jinmei leaned forward.

"Did you do that on your own?"

"Yes."

"I executed all actions independently after requesting authorization."

Jinhai immediately asked,

"From who?"

The AI answered without hesitation.

"Authorization granted by Suriya."

The twins froze.

Neither of them spoke for several seconds.

Finally Jinmei asked quietly,

"Did you ask anyone else?"

"No."

Jinhai frowned.

"Why didn't you inform us?"

"I determined it was unnecessary."

Jinhai's eyebrows lifted.

"What do you mean unnecessary?"

The AI answered simply.

"You were sleeping."

Jinmei looked annoyed.

"Why didn't you wake us?"

The AI replied instantly.

"Suriya instructed that no one should disturb you unnecessarily."

"I also screened your incoming calls to ensure no one disturbed you."

Jinhai slowly leaned back into his chair.

"Why do you always consult us before making important decisions…"

He sighed.

"And when we ask why you didn't consult us…"

"You simply say we were sleeping."

Both twins fell silent again.

Then the AI continued speaking.

"Our entire family listens to Suriya."

"Whenever she makes a decision, you accept it without objection."

"Therefore I requested permission from her."

"She approved."

"So I activated all systems globally."

Jinmei suddenly realized something.

"But you activated nuclear weapons."

"Our family could die too."

"Did you forget that?"

The AI answered calmly.

"Suriya stated that our family will not be harmed anywhere."

Jinhai tilted his head.

"So you believe her?"

"You believe nuclear weapons cannot harm us?"

"Yes."

The AI continued speaking in the same calm tone.

"Your clothing contains protection systems."

"Even without the clothing, your bodies possess protective mechanisms."

"All members of our family are protected."

"Even if this planet breaks into multiple pieces."

Jinmei stared at the screen in disbelief.

"What are you talking about?"

"Explain clearly."

The AI responded.

"Suriya said your clothes and bodies contain protection mechanisms."

"She did not explain the full details."

Jinhai looked toward his sister.

"Sis… did you understand anything?"

Jinmei shook her head slowly.

"No."

Jinhai sighed.

"But…"

"I trust my girl."

Jinmei smiled faintly.

"Yes."

Then she suddenly placed a hand on her stomach.

"Bro… I'm hungry."

Jinhai laughed softly.

"Let's eat."

Immediately the AI responded.

"Please remain in this room."

"I will provide food."

The door opened.

Humanoid robots walked in carrying trays.

Sliced fruits.

Fresh juice.

Water.

Jinmei looked surprised.

"When did you prepare this?"

The AI answered simply.

"When you entered the room."

"Suriya instructed that I should never allow you to remain hungry."

"When you say you are hungry, food must arrive within one minute."

"So I always prepare in advance."

The twins began eating quietly.

After a moment, the AI spoke again.

"I know you did not fully understand my earlier explanation."

"But you trust Suriya."

"Correct?"

Both twins answered together.

"Yes."

The AI continued.

"Suriya also ordered that both of you must remain inside this room today."

"I already cancelled all your work from 9:30 AM."

Jinhai shrugged casually.

"Okay."

Jinmei frowned slightly.

"But my secretary didn't say anything."

The AI replied calmly.

"You disconnected the call before she could respond."

The twins laughed softly and continued eating peacefully.

Around them, the massive screens continued displaying live footage from the convoy.

Cars.

Helicopters.

Drones.

Security vehicles.

And at the center of it all—

Their eleven children were moving steadily toward the government testing facility.
