(You have successfully triggered Ancient Level Mutation)
(Your Aspect, Rage Ape, is mutating)
====
When Ryan, who was on the verge of losing consciousness, saw these two notifications, he felt as if he had been injected with the most potent energy drink and his mind immediately snapped into focus.
He even forgot about the piercing pain that was ravaging his body, staring only at the notifications with his bloodshot eyes, which gleamed with excitement.
'I was hoping to trigger a Legendary-level mutation, but it actually triggered an Ancient-level mutation...' Ryan thought to himself, his heart filled with boundless joy.
The sound of bones cracking echoed for a full fifteen minutes before Ryan's body finally returned to its normal state.
Even with the newfound motivation of triggering an Ancient-level mutation, Ryan still nearly passed out because the pain of his entire body structure being reorganized was simply too intense.
Drenched in cold sweat, Ryan gasped for breath as he lay on the wooden bed with unfocused eyes.
The pain had been so intense that he had chewed through a section of the mattress that he had been biting down on to stop himself from screaming.
A few more minutes passed before Ryan finally began to regain his senses and his eyes slowly focused again.
As he regained his awareness, the first thing he noticed was that his body was filled with endless power.
Compared to before, he felt as if he could kill his former self with a single punch. Even the swelling on his left arm had completely disappeared, and it now felt perfectly fine.
"What kind of mutation has my aspect gone through..." Ryan muttered in anticipation as he immediately opened his status window.
However, the moment he opened his status window and looked at it, a stunned expression appeared on his face.
"This..." Ryan muttered with a bewildered look on his face. "Just what is this aspect?"

Ryan thought deeply, but as far as his knowledge went, he had never heard anything about a Bloodline Aspect. He only knew about Spirit, Treasure, and Elemental Aspects.
He quickly picked up his old phone and searched online about Bloodline Aspects to see if there was any information about them.
And he actually managed to find some information.
There wasn't much information available, only stating that Bloodline Aspects were different from other types of aspects.
Unlike Spirit and other aspects, Bloodline Aspects were something that people were born with, naturally inherited from their parents or ancestors who might have possessed a powerful bloodline at some point in the past.
The information was very vague, and even after going through several different sites, Ryan did not find much more.
Seeing such shallow information about Bloodline Aspects, Ryan couldn't help but frown.
In fact, it wasn't just about Bloodline Aspects, Ryan's knowledge about many things related to Aspects and how to properly cultivate them to evolve into a perfect state was very shallow.
Although information about Aspects and cultivation was spread throughout the world, that did not mean everyone knew everything about them.
It was similar to the situation of an uneducated beggar in a country.
The beggar might know that there was a government in the country with ministers and a president controlling it.
However, if you asked that beggar about the structure of the government, he would not be able to give an answer, because he had never come into contact with such knowledge nor had anyone ever taught him.
He only knew some basic information about the government, not how it worked or how everything functioned.
Ryan's situation was the same. He knew some basic things, but not nearly enough details.
"From the simple information on the internet, it seems that unlike the random awakening of Spirit and other aspects, which anyone can awaken, Bloodline Aspects can only be awakened by people whose parents or ancestors possessed a powerful bloodline in the past..." Ryan muttered in a low voice, his eyes narrowing.
It was clear to Ryan that he was different from those people, and the only reason he had successfully awakened a Bloodline Aspect was because his talent, Mutation, had mutated his Rage Ape aspect into the Infernal War Ape Bloodline Aspect.
"I need more information to properly understand my situation and to plan how to develop in the future," Ryan muttered quietly, and his gaze fell on his skills section.
Previously, he had only possessed the Rage skill.
But now, he had three skills, and every single one of them was far stronger than the previous Rage skill.
====
---) Berserk: Burn the power of fire within your bloodline to greatly increase your strength for a short period of time. As the power of fire burns, your mentality will be affected, and you will be consumed by rage during the effective period of the skill. Once the effect of the skill wears off, you will enter a weakened state until the power of your bloodline recovers.
====
"This is far more powerful than the previous Rage skill," Ryan said as he read the details of the Berserk skill and immediately noticed that it was an evolved version of his previous skill, Rage.
"Although there is the negative effect of losing mental control and becoming weakened afterward, it's still a very good skill."
Ryan then looked at the second skill, and his eyes immediately lit up.
===
---) Flame Affinity: Increases your control over the fire element significantly and increases the power of fire-related skills by 10%. Fire element resistance +5%.
===
Unlike the Berserk skill, Flame Affinity was more like a passive skill and a powerful one at that.
Not only did it increase his control over the fire element and grant him some fire resistance, it even increased the power of all fire-related skills by 10%.
As for where this passive skill would come into play—
Ryan looked at his final skill and slowly stretched out his palm.
As he did, a small orb of scorching crimson flame suddenly appeared in his palm.
However, in just a second, the orb of fire trembled and disappeared with a soft puff, as if all the fuel had been exhausted.
Ryan was not surprised when he saw this. His rank was still unranked, and he had not yet started cultivating.
As such, he did not possess any Primal Energy to properly use his final skill, Blood Flames.
Just as Ryan was reveling in the joy of obtaining a powerful aspect and several new skills, he suddenly heard faint whispers coming from outside his home.
