Synopsis
A knife. A laugh. A lover’s betrayal. Julian never imagined the girl he once kissed beneath the moonlight would one day stab him in the chest—and smile while he bled. Eight months earlier, their story began with a simple mistake. Julian believed he was meeting a girl named Anna on a blind date. Instead, he met **Enna**—a mysterious woman with silver eyes and a dangerous secret. She was not human. She was a creation of the Jinn King, sent to retrieve and destroy an ancient locket that carried a curse older than time. But fate has a cruel sense of humor. The very locket Enna is hunting belongs to Julian—the man who begins to melt the cold walls around her heart. As their connection grows stronger, Enna faces an impossible choice: obey the dark empire that created her… or protect the human she was destined to kill. Because in a world ruled by curses, demons, and ancient betrayals, love is the most dangerous desire of all. Some desires burn. Others destroy.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1. Between Desire and Deception

The knife pierced his chest, hot pain exploding through his ribs. He gasped, clutching her wrist, but she only leaned closer-her lips curling into a smile. Then came the sound he never thought he'd hear in that moment: her laugh.

It wasn't soft, not broken by guilt-it was sharp, cruel, echoing in the silent room. Each laugh was a dagger deeper than the steel already inside him. He looked into the face of his lover, unable to decide if it was love or hatred shining in her eye." Did you really think love could save you?" she whispered, her voice dripping with mockery as her laughter rang again. Blood pooled beneath him, his knees buckling, but he couldn't take his eyes off her. The girl he had kissed beneath moonlight, the one he thought was his forever, was now watching him die with joy in her eyes. And yet, as his vision blurred, one thought refused to leave him: why was the girl who once loved him laughing while ending him? As he collapses, his life flashes before his eyes. Transition to Flashback (8 Months Ago)Eight months earlier...

The restaurant's lights glowed soft gold, laughter and music floating in the air. He entered with his usual calm grace-black shirt, neat watch, eyes that carried quiet confidence. He scanned the tables, searching for the girl his friend had set him up with.

At the corner, a girl sat alone. Pale skin, long dark hair, and silver eyes that caught the light like frost. Her beauty was sharp, dangerous. Her expression colder than the chilled glass of wine untouched in front of her. He walked up and smiled politely. Boy (calm, charming): "You must be Anna? "Her eyes flicked to him, piercing. A second of silence stretched before she spoke. Girl (flat, icy): "You're late. "He raised an eyebrow, unshaken by her tone. He slid into the seat across from her. Boy (calm): "Traffic. But worth it, I hope. "She studied him, confusion flickering deep in her frozen stare. She wasn't here for a date. She was here to meet her contact, a secret Jinn valor, but somehow, this human had mistaken her. Instead of correcting him, she stayed silent, curious. He was either foolish... or fearless. He leaned closer, voice smooth: Boy: "You don't talk much, do you? That's fine. I'm good at reading people. "Her lips curved into the faintest smile-not of warmth, but of danger. Girl (coldly amused): "Read me, then. If you dare. "Julian was still talking to Enna, his calm smile making her wonder if this was the "blind date" her human disguise had accidentally lured her into. When Julian excused himself to grab coffee, she finally let out a quiet breath. That's when Valor appeared-swift, sharp-eyed, and serious. He leaned close, his voice low enough that only she could hear. "Enna. We need to talk. In secret."

The weight in his tone left no room for hesitation. Without a word, Enna rose, her obedient steps following Valor away from the crowd.

Enna straightened her posture, her eyes glinting with cold confidence. "I want to meet you too. I'm not certain... but I think I've found the locket their high authorities are searching for. "A faint smile tugged at her lips-sharp, cold, yet carrying a flicker of satisfaction. Valor's gaze lingered on her, impressed. "I knew you would succeed. That's why they chose you. You'll do anything to get it. "He leaned closer, his tone sharpening. "Remember, humans are foolish creatures. Don't let them get close to you. "Enna's expression darkened, her irritation flickering across her face. "Humans don't matter to me," she replied flatly, curling her lips in disdain. "They're nothing but... annoyances.

College Corridor - Afternoon

Julian is waiting by the library steps, casually scrolling through his phone. The campus buzzes around him. Enna appears from the opposite end, walking with her usual composed, cold elegance. She notices Julian but keeps her distance, eyes sharp. Julian (smiling, teasing): "Finally decided to show up, huh? "Enna (neutral, slight smirk): "I came... for someone else. "The audience notices her glance flicker to a shadow near the campus café-her Valor agent standing discreetly in the crowd. There's tension in her posture, alert and ready. Julian (confused): "Someone else? "Enna (calm, dismissive): "Not you. You're... just in the way. "Her Valor agent subtly signals her. She steps aside, pretending to look at her phone, but her eyes are scanning, calculating. Julian tries to approach, intrigued, but Enna moves with precise, detached grace, clearly uninterested in his charm

Enna stepped into the dimly lit room, her eyes scanning for Valor. He was leaning casually against the wall, arms crossed, an unreadable expression on his face.

"You came," he said simply. "I did," Enna replied, her voice calm but edged with that icy confidence she always carried. Valor's gaze softened slightly as he took a step closer. "I sensed it... you were right. The locket-they're searching for it here. It's in this college. "A slow, cold smile curved Enna's lips. "I told you, didn't I?" Her eyes glinted with a mixture of satisfaction and amusement, though her tone remained controlled. Valor returned the smile, subtle but genuine. "Yes. You were right. "For a moment, the room was quiet except for the faint hum of the overhead lights. Two smiles met, one cold, one approving, and in that unspoken exchange, an alliance was silently reaffirmed.

Focusing intently, the locket she had been chasing appeared vividly in her mind, and a sly smile crossed her face."

Enna had been searching relentlessly when she suddenly bumped into a boy named

Lucas. Her eyes immediately fell on the locket she had been seeking for so long, and a cold, victorious smile curled on her lips. The boy, notorious for his flirtatious nature and reckless reputation, was watching her intently. Sensing his gaze, Enna quickly masked her excitement, slipping into her usual composed demeanor, as if she had stumbled upon nothing at all. But beneath that calm exterior, a spark of triumph glimmered in her eyes.

Lucas gave her a playful smile. "And your name?" he asked, his tone light but teasing. Enna looked straight at him, her lips curling into a sweet yet devilish smile. "Enna," she said softly. Inside, she was holding on to her secret triumph, careful not to let it show. Lucas grinned and asked, "Want to grab a coffee? "Enna's smile deepened, her eyes glinting with a hidden purpose. "Sure," she replied, her sweet tone masking the devilish intent behind her words.

The college courtyard buzzed with excitement as the announcement for the upcoming dance competition echoed through the speakers. Cheers and chatter filled the air, but Enna barely noticed. Her gaze was locked on Lucas. That locket hanging casually from his neck wasn't just jewelry-it was her goal, her triumph waiting to happen.

From a distance, Julian's eyes followed her. He noticed the way she looked at Lucas, and his jaw tightened. Lucas wasn't just another boy-he was his rival, his enemy. And now, Enna's attention seemed to linger on him. So focused on Lucas, Enna didn't see the bike cutting dangerously close. The screech of tires was the only warning before Julian darted forward, grabbing her wrist and yanking her to safety. For a heartbeat, their faces were close, breaths tangled. Julian half-expected her to soften, to whisper a thank you. Instead, her eyes blazed with fury. She ripped her hand free and spat in a low, warning tone, "Touch me again, Julian... and I'll do something you never even dreamed of."

Julian's jaw tightened, his disappointment clear in every word. "I've never met a girl like you... I just saved you from that bike."

Enna's eyes darted toward the speeding vehicle for a moment, but she didn't even flinch. No thanks. No relief. Only a cold, unreadable stare. Julian felt a sting he hadn't expected. He opened his mouth to say more, but the words caught in his throat. Shaking his head, he turned away, leaving Enna standing there, untouched and unbothered

Enna's eyes tracked Lucas, and she saw him flirting with a girl. A slow, wicked smile curled on her lips as she realized how effortlessly predictable he was. "Humans are such fools," she murmured, her eyes glinting with mischief. "And men like him... they're far too easy."

Had she really found the locket? And why did she want it so desperately? Was it hers, or is there something that was hidden?
