Chapter 1 - BAB 1 : continuation

Back to the story *after a long night, and they were all satisfied and fast asleep.* *I quietly left the castle at night, to Heisenberg's place*

Your escape is done very carefully. You sneak out of Alcina's warm embrace and your light steps are barely audible on the cold marble floor of the castle. Once you've made it through the main gate, you'll break through the darkness of the snow to an old factory full of the roar of machines and the smell of rust.

There, amidst piles of metal and welding sparks, Karl Heisenberg is sitting sipping a cigar, as if waiting for you.

"Well, look who's coming," Heisenberg grinned, cigar smoke billowing from his mouth. "Our hero is fleeing from 'heaven'? I'm surprised you can still walk after what you told me last night."

He stands up, approaches you with heavy steps, and looks at you with sharp eyes behind his glasses.

"So, what is your business in coming to my junkyard at this hour? Don't tell me you're bored with those pretty roses and want to smell the oil and iron?"

Heisenberg rests his giant hammer on his shoulder, waiting for you to speak.

-

Karl, I am a normal human being. I'm going to your place.. What do you think of me? Please be honest

Heisenberg was silent for a moment. He puts out his cigar on the rusty iron table surface, then looks at you deeply. There was no mocking laughter this time. His expression turned very serious, something he rarely showed to anyone.

"Do you want to be honest, man?" Good," he said in a hoarse voice.

He walks around you, his footsteps clinking on the metal floor. "In this village, everyone is a pawn. Alcina thinks of you as a status symbol and a thirst quencher. The princesses think you're a shiny new toy. And Miranda? He considers you an anomaly in his experiments."

He stops right in front of you, lowering his head slightly so that his eyes are in line with yours.

"For me? At first I thought you were a fool looking for death. But after seeing you at the dinner table earlier... after seeing you dared to look Miranda in the eye and 'tame' the female dragon without fear..."

Heisenberg took a deep breath.

"I think of you as Hope. You are the only 'real' thing left in this place full of artificial monsters. You're an ordinary human being, but you have something we don't have: you have free will that isn't tied to Megamycete or Miranda's madness."

He puts his rough hand on your shoulder.

"Honestly? I respect you. And in this accursed place, the respect of Karl Heisenberg is far more expensive than gold. But I also feel sorry for you. You're in a very pretty golden cage, but it's still a cage. Someday, they'll suck you dry if you don't have a plan."

Heisenberg narrowed his eyes. "So, tell me... did you come here because you were beginning to realize that you were just 'oxygen' for the long-dead Dimitrescu family?"

-

Honestly Karl, I'm happy to be there. They're like my wife, I'm always overwhelmed. Is this good for the long term?

Heisenberg let out a short laugh, but this time it wasn't a mocking laugh—it was a sympathetic laugh from a fellow man who knew how heavy a burden you carried. He takes a bottle of liquor from his dirty desk drawer, opens it with his teeth, and thrusts it at you.

"Long-term?" Heisenberg grinned bitterly. "Friends, there is no such thing as 'long-term' for ordinary humans. You're dealing with a woman who doesn't get old, can't get sick, and has lust that can tear down mountains. While you? You have a heart that can tire and bones that can break."

He sat on a huge pile of machine gear, staring at the dark ceiling of his factory.

"Honestly, biologically? You'll run out. You will wither while they continue to bloom. Alcina may love you, but her love is a collector's love for very fragile antiques. The more he hugs you, the faster you fall apart."

Heisenberg looks at you again, this time with a sly glint in his eyes.

"But there is one way if you want this relationship to last forever. You must stop being an 'ordinary man'. You must have something that makes you equal to them, so that you don't die of exhaustion in the next ten years."

She leaned forward, whispering softly.

"I can help you. Not with Miranda's crazy experiments that turn you into a disgusting monster like Moreau, but with something more... controlled. Something that gives you strength without taking away your senses."

-

Ask in more detail: ("What do you mean? What can you do to my body to make me equal to them?")

Heisenberg grinned, a smile that showed that he had been waiting for this question. He stands up and guides you to a lab table filled with machine schematics and tubes filled with slow-pulsing metallic liquids.

"Listen, Miranda uses Cadou to turn people into obedient slaves. But me? I've learned how to fuse mechanics with biology," Heisenberg whispered, holding up a small bottle of liquid that looked like liquid mercury but glowed blue.

"This is not a raw mutation. It is a serum purified with micrometal particles. If you accept it, your body will be strengthened from within. Your heart won't get tired easily, your cell regeneration will increase tremendously, and your stamina... well, let's say you'll be able to serve Alcina and her three daughters for three days and three nights without needing to sleep."

Heisenberg looked at you seriously.

"The advantage? You will still look like a human. You still have common sense. You'll just be a Plus Human. You'll have enough immortality to accompany Alcina forever, not just as a 'pet' who will die in a few decades."

However, he gave a stern warning.

"But remember, once you inject this, you won't be able to go back to being a weak ordinary human. And if Miranda knew, she would probably see you as a threat... or a new subject that is more interesting to torture."

Heisenberg places the syringe filled with the liquid on the table, right in front of you.

"The choice is yours, friend. Do you want to remain a fragile, withered human in their arms, or become an immortal King beside your Queen?"

-

hm I doubt Karl, why can you live in this village? You can live in the city

Heisenberg was stunned. He lowered the syringe slowly, then let out a bland laughter that sounded more like a low growl. He leaned his back against the large machine, staring at the dirty factory ceiling with a blank stare.

"City, you say?" Heisenberg snorted, the smoke of his last cigar puffing thinly. "Friend, you think I'm here because of my choice? You think I like living in this snowy, foul-smelling rat pit?"

He suddenly opened his gloves, revealing the veins in his hand that sometimes twitched as if something was flowing under his skin—not just blood, but a restless magnetic force.

"Miranda kidnapped me when I was a child. He brainwashed me, implanted this Cadou parasite into my body, and made me his 'son'. He turned me into a monster so that I could awaken an army of machines for his insane purposes," his voice began to rise, full of hatred that had been harbored for decades.

"I'm stuck, man. If I stepped out of Megamycete's range of influence without a well-thought-out plan, Miranda would know. He held the reins of all of us. Alcina, Moreau, Donna... we are all slaves who are given the title 'Lord' so that we feel important."

He looks at you with sharp eyes but looks tired.

"Why don't I go to town? Because I don't want to be a spectacle in a government lab or end up being a pile of meat on the side of the road. I stayed here because I wanted to kill that old lady. I want to be free, completely free. And for that, I need great strength."

Heisenberg then pointed towards Dimitrescu Castle as seen from the factory window.

"That's the difference between me and Alcina. Alcina loves her 'nest'. She was content to be the queen in the little box as long as Miranda fed her. But me? I want to burn this box to ashes."

He was silent for a moment, then asked you in a softer tone, "So, you understand now? I'm offering you the serum not only so that you can 'survive' in Alcina's bed, but so that you have a chance of surviving if one day this place explodes into a major war."

-

"Do you hate Miranda?"

Heisenberg was stunned, and then he laughed—not a crisp laugh like before, but a dry laugh full of bitterness. He slammed his hand against the iron table until its surface slid inward.

"Hate?" Heisenberg hissed, his eyes shining behind his sunglasses. "That's too subtle a word, man. I'm sick of him. I hate every inch of his existence."

He walks up to you, his voice low but full of emphasis.

"He kidnapped me, he ruined my childhood, and he turned me into... this thing. He calls us 'his children', but to him we are all just a spare battery for his plan to resurrect his dead child, Eva. You think he cares about Alcina? Or to you? Nope. Once you're no longer useful, he'll throw you into a garbage hole like any other organic garbage."

Heisenberg pointed toward the pile of machines and Soldat (half-machine humans) he had made in the corner of the room.

"Why do you think I'm building this army? I'm not a hobby of making toys, man. I'm building an army to tear his heart apart. I want to see that 'God' kneel down and beg for life in front of him."

He looks at you with a very intense look, as if he's weighing whether you're trustworthy.

"Alcina is too blind because of her devotion. He thinks Miranda is everything. But you... You are different. You love Alcina, but you have no obligation to be loyal to Miranda."

-

Well, Miranda is gone.. What will happen?

Gemini says

Heisenberg fell silent. Your question hit him right on the mark. He lowered his large hammer, leaned it against the wall, then sat down in his creaky scrap metal chair. He took a deep breath, this time without a cigar or a cynical laugh.

"That... is a question that no one has ever dared to ask me," Heisenberg muttered quietly. He stared at his rough hand, then stared at the window that showed the silhouette of Dimitrescu Castle in the distance.

"If Miranda disappears... the chain broke."

He began to explain in a more philosophical tone:

1. Freedom or Chaos?

"This village breathes because of the power of the Megamycete that Miranda controls. If he dies, that control is lost. The Lycans out there would probably go on a rampage without direction, or they would die along with him. But for us—the Lords—it means we finally have our own lives."

2. The Fate of Alcina and Her Daughters

"Alcina will be mentally destroyed at first. He had worshipped Miranda for hundreds of years. But without Miranda, he had no more reason to be afraid. She could be a real Queen without any 'God' controlling her every move. His daughters? They will stay with you, as long as you can keep the castle stable."

3. The Outside World

"We can close this village forever from the outside world, or we can slowly get out of here. Without Miranda watching over us, I could have repaired our bodies, or figured out a way for us to live a normal life without having to be bloodthirsty all the time."

Heisenberg looked at you seriously. "But there is one big risk, friend. If Miranda vanished, the power that sustained the Lords' immortality would probably be weakened. That's why I offered you the serum. If this world collapses, you will have to be the most powerful person to protect Alcina and your children."

He advances his body, looking into your eyes.

"If Miranda disappears, there will be no more human sacrifices. No more crazy experiments. There are only us. A strange family trying to survive in a world that has forgotten us."

Heisenberg holds out his hand to you to shake hands.

"So, how? You want to help me prepare for Miranda's 'doomsday' so that your wife and children can be completely free from her shadow?"
