It wasn't until much later, after reaching the stable area where the wolves rested, that he remembered Luvia, quickly glancing back to find no one there. Though he knew Luvia wouldn't let this go, he hadn't heard the last of it.
He soon left the stables, heading to his tent with Galatea.
'I need some rest...'
However, there wasn't much time for him to do so.
He needed to prepare the groups, adjust the plans and ensure everyone knew the main goals for when they struck the goblins.
'To take back the village head on, we'd honestly need a bigger force...'
Luka calculated the time and realised how cruel it could be. With almost four days gone, the main assault could happen in as few as six days. He just hoped that eliminating the goblins and repairing the defensive walls would buy them at least a month, though.
Everything was a race against time.
