Night after night, Thunder Boy patrolled Brightstone City. He stopped thieves, rescued people from accidents, and helped anyone in danger.
Soon the whole city began talking about the lightning hero.
But not everyone was happy about it.
Far across the city, inside a secret laboratory, a dangerous scientist watched the news with anger.
His name was Dr. Voltaris.
"So… a lightning hero," he said coldly. "Interesting."
Voltaris had spent years trying to control electricity and power the entire city with his machines. But his experiments had failed.
Now he wanted the power Ethan had.
"And when I capture that boy," Voltaris whispered, "his power will belong to me."
