Chapter 18 - Yamato

"What are you doing, Cassien?" Valerie was watching me forge.

These materials… I combined most metals, like celestial copper, and produced an unknown metal.

It was a katana.

This was Yamato, and it was the same.

There were weapons here that could cut space, but Yamato could do much more than space-time.

No one knows how hard it was to try to create this myself.

I cut my palm, and blood dripped onto Yamato.

"1 year I won't be able to use worthless, power of destruction, dismantle, cleave. In return, I want this sword to be like Yamato in DMC."

The katana started glowing, and its form really turned into Yamato and caused a wind to blow around.

The sword shone and came to my hand, merging with my soul.

I instinctively knew this was Yamato.

I succeeded…

A binding vow gives something equal to what I give, right now, not using my abilities while in so much danger is suicide, but I got Yamato.

ROB motherfucker might have deliberately strengthened the effects of the binding vow.

Valerie held my hand: "WHAT DID YOU DO! WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU?"

The wound in my bleeding palm closed: "Nothing will happen, just a few small things."

"I understand, you scared me for a moment," said Valerie, and held my hand.

A little later, she got embarrassed and pulled back.

But someone kicked the training room door: "Why did you save me! Why didn't you let me die!?"

Valerie got into a fighting stance.

"Cleria Belial, I stopped your stupid suicide. Because of your selfish ego-maniac attitude, your cousin Diehauser Belial would probably suffer. If your lover loved you, he wouldn't want to see you dead. If you want to commit suicide, take it," I said and threw Yamato at her.

She looked at me with wide eyes: "You saved me, but now you won't bother to save me again?"

"If you don't want to live, I can't do anything. Masaomi might have been the only man in your life who showed you love. I can understand you killing yourself, go ahead."

I crossed my arms and watched her.

Valerie relaxed too, and her eyes were carefully watching every move of Cleria.

She took out Yamato, and when she looked… she saw her own reflection and fell to her knees: "I didn't want this… I wish I had died there with him."

"In life, people that we love die, but the ones who suffer the most are not them, but the ones they leave behind."

Yamato fell from her hands and reappeared in mine: "From now on, you can stay in this mansion; what you do doesn't concern me."

Valerie held my shoulder: "Cassien, you're being too harsh on her."

"You should have known I wouldn't soften the truth. If she's so sad she can explode her head with magic," but Valerie must not have taken what I said well, because she pinched my waist.

Then she ran to Cleria on the ground and lifted her.

She guided her and probably showed her where she would stay, etc.

The Yamato in my hand was trembling and giving a strange reaction.

My blood was giving a strange reaction, too.

I drew Yamato from its sheath, swung it, and put it back.

I will try to do this 1 million times a day.

Because of this, I will reduce the number of cases I deal with for a few months….
