"This has got to be a joke," Sienna said in disbelief.
She had just finished clearing some complex surgeries at another hospital and had returned to the tea shop to rest for a while. All she wanted was silence and a cup of something warm for a moment before heading back to the presidential estate.
Instead, she walked into a room filled with expensive sweets and chocolates.
They were everywhere around the room, piled in baskets and arranged in decorative boxes tied with silk ribbons. The sheer volume of it was crazy.
"Sir Isaac said it's all for you," Mitchelle said from behind her, leaning against the doorframe with an amused smile.
"He must be on something. What is this meant to be for?" Sienna asked rhetorically, her brows furrowed in annoyance.
"People mostly give chocolates and sweets to people they love," Gabriel said helpfully, stepping around Mitchelle with a tray of warm tea. "To show how much they care."
Sienna did not agree with that answer. Not even a little.
