Having dealt with the Lunagaron Franklin had two choices infront of him. The main reason being the hunter he saw before the Lunagaron tried to flee.
Truthfully he doesn't know if it was a hunter or not. He doesn't have that great of a vision at night. And he just only got a glimpse of it. But from that the only conclusion he can make is that it was a hunter.
But how did they found him? Did he make a mistake and revealed himself accidentally?
No he couldn't have. But he still needed to make a decision. One he leaves and finds a new place to call home. And two he stays.
Either way he chooses he can't get the thought out of his head that since he was found they will found him again but that time he will most likely has to fight them.
Even if he's now a monster he still didn't wanted to kill anyone of them unless necessary. He did become a monster in body but he doesn't want to be one in mind as well.
While he ate the Lunagaron that he killed he was deciding on what to do.
Even if he leaves he will get hunted down, because of what he is even if he can't use the frenzy virus. The hunters will regardless think of him as something they need to get rid of.
After finishing his small meal he stepped out of the cave to look down onto the forest. While looking he caught a glimpse of a small party of hunters climbing down from the mountain.
It was already dawn, the sun was already coming up. But the dreed that other hunters know of him made him anxious.
He needed to come up with a solution and fast. Leaving isn't a permanent solution, and hurting the hunters aren't one either. Because eventually other hunters are going to arrive to hunt him down.
After a while of weighing his choices he come up with a possible solution it wasn't permanent but it did guarantee the he lives longer.
The solution he came up with is that he will just leave towards the snowy plains or mountain and stays there for a while.
After deciding on this he went back inside the cave to sleep until tomorrow morning. That's what he decided was the perfect time to leave. Since he still wanted to spend at least a little bit more time here.
Inside the forest Wincent and his friends arrived at the hunter campsite without any problems. It's a cave that was reinforced so monsters can't enter.
Once inside they went to find the beds to sleep. Mary was already asleep when they arrived Frank was carrying her on his back.
"Once we're rested and not tired anymore we should talk about what happened last night."
Dorothy told the others. None of them argue with that statement. Resting was the first thing they had on their minds anyway.
Wincent on the other hand wasn't that tired, if anything he was just shaken about what happened to him.
First that unknown hunter who disappeared last night. And the fact that he came face to face with a Gore magala wasn't making him feel better.
Thinking back he wasn't so sure anymore that he wasn't seen by it. Even if it doesn't have great eye sight it probably caught a glimpse of him when he ran.
After sitting down on a bed he took down his own armour to inspect. He needed something to do with his hand so it stops shaking. And he needs to get his mind of of it.
While he was trying to focus on his armour Peet was at the entrance looking out at the forest. Jack seeing Wincent like that made him uneasy , he wanted to talk to him but decided against it.
They are going to talk anyway after they rested.
Three hours later. The sun was at its peak shining down onto the forest. Wincent was recounting the events that happened to his friends.
They didn't ask any questions to not get him of track. After he finished the others were stunned. Hearing about how close he got to the Gore magala was terrifying. But what puzzled them was how Wincent described it, a Gore magala hase eyes only after it molted and turned into a Shrugle magala.
But this one's not like that. If they wanted to know more maybe they more than likely needed to find it. But they should get back to the outpost before Calvin founds out that they disobeyed, and broke the rules. They will definitely get an earful when they return.
While talking Mary was already writing down everything he said about this Gore magala.
While they were contemplating of what to do. Calvin and some other hunters have arrived inside the camp as well.
He was angry at first but when he saw Wincent and the others faces he decided to hear them out first and if what they say isn't that big of a deal then he will give them an earful.
Contrary to what Calvin expected what they told him was bad. The Gore magala was living on the mountain and Wincent meet it just a few hours ago.
They did tell him about that mysterious hunter but he didn't have an answer of who it could be.
But since they now know where the Gore magala lives they can get rid of it fast. After deciding that tomorrow morning they are going to it's den to kill it all of them got down to inspect their gear. And making sure they have enough Antidote for everyone.
Wincent for some odd reason didn't really like the plan but decided to not voice his thought out loud incase they were to send him back to the outpost.
Even if it was a slim chance he didn't wanted to risk it. But it probably won't happen since he was the only one who knows where it's den is located.
He decided that he wants to meet that specific Gore magala again. Because for some unknown reason his intuition was telling him that it's not going to hurt him. Yes he's scared but when did that ever stop him before.
And his intuition was never wrong before ether so he decided to trust it this time as well.
